    the whole show sounds hideous to me

    Possibly... But the last 2 on Sat night had to be genuine. The wonans husband with the brown tie & pic of titanic... & then the next reading came right back to her re the kid....That woman was a local & no actor could have acted with such emotion!

    y'know..I don't remember much of the second half..I remember Tony Stockwell doing a very very long reading and by the end of it I was ready to sleep. (I had travelled to get to the show and was tired) It possibly wasn't helped by the fact that I tried to get as much alcohol into me during the interval and the last half an hour or so is a bit of a blur.
    I don't remember the mouse one..or the titanic one :(
    But I agree, there were real emotions and very local people.

    especially so as it was all microphone, camera and big screen set up. Could have done a great rendition of ditry aul town though.

    At Castlebar Tony was much better then Colin, I didn't see any pens for sale either, just the brochures, cd's and crystal angels.
    I have to say I thought it was great and much better then I thought it would be. I would love to go again. By the way I heard that Derek Acorah is meant to be coming to Dublin and Belfast.
