    Righto small problem.

Just built my first pc installed windows and all was well as it was when the graphic card software and monitor software was installed.

I then tried to install a game "law and order"(the second one). Just to see it go.

then disaster struck and it crashed.

Since this point it wont load windows.

(It gets as far as the loading bar and then resets.)

I'm confused and not even a little aroused.

    can anybody help?

p.s. also it seems to be producing a small squeaking sound when it's on.

just read the sticky feel free to move it.
Where is the delete post button.
    sorry

did you check inside for small animals?

possibly a PSU problem or RAM. they'd be the most likely culprits anway.

can you try another PSU or borrow some ram for someone to rule them out.

    Law and Order?
Haven't heard of it, sounds like a cheap-ass PoS game.
    Burn the discs now.

    Reformat your machine.

Did you install motherboard drivers ? They're the absolute FIRST thing to install after a fresh reformat.

    Mobo -> Graphics -> Sound -> Whatever
is my order. Never had a problem that way.
