Resurecting this thread and listing several other threads of a similar vein below.

Mod- any chance these could be merged- incl. the polls.
There have been a number of what I would consider inappropriate comments between people of vastly differing ages. The Valentine's thread and the Boob thread stand out. Maybe people could update their profiles or something- and ages be displayed on posts, perhaps below location? It would make inappropriate comments or retorts less likely......

What is the point in merging age threads?
I read the first 3 pages of this and then realised it's THREE YEARS OLD. Probably older.

All those ages are wrong now, and god forbid if I have to work out how old people are now from that.

Depends on what you define as "the internet".....
I had my own Gopher site at Minnesota in 1988 on a Vax machine.
It was only turned off two years ago- because they refused to justify paying the electricity bill :-(
