Don't worry about it, the height your at now probably wont be te one you live the rest of your life at, same goes for your breast size.

Boobs are a great turn on, they need to be tangible. For me a B cup is perfect while a's and c's are equally nice, I'm not complainin. D cups wouldn't be my first choice. But the worst thing of all are implants of any sort (you can always tell). They are a serious turn off. Imagine how gross you would feel if ur man got testicle implants. Thats how nauseating I think they are..

    NSFW

A nice pair of breasts are great, size aint really an issue once they get the job done.
It's like penis size on men.

It's what [you're willing to] do with them that counts.

i like breasts, size isnt important

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,403 ✭✭✭passive

i prefer small from an..umm... interaction point of view :) . I'd kinda aim for "cute" in general and i suppose small (but lovely) breasts are part of that
buuuut...even with that that said large pairs can be pretty amazing. *thinks about something for a moment* yeah... :o harder to work with though. ahem...

anyway..this conversation shall be stricken from the record, right?

Come on guys; wakey, wakey. To those of you who are stating size isn't important, please get off your high horses and join the rest of us XY riddled specimens. It took us 3 billion years to get this far:

Fact: All men like large breasts. (Saying "I like small breasts" is like going for the easy pickings...).

If anyone has a problem with this, get over it, it's deeply ingrained in you and there's not a lot you can do about it. Think about it - it doesn't make a lot of sense for our testosterone drenched bodies to risk life and limb for a pair of fatty appendages anyway (that serve an entirely different function).

I'm not proud of it, I'd have it another way if I could, but the fact is men like large breasts. I'm certainly not saying the larger the better (anything over D cup is extremely unusual anyway) - but men simply like large breasts.

.... and regarding the post on penis size - sorry to shatter your illusion, but size certainly does make a difference. If you have any fancy party tricks, all the better, but there are some simple laws of physics that can't be ignored.

Full breasts are a sign that a mammal is with child. I wonder why an unattached male would be attracted to a female with child? Possible reasons are that it shows the female is indeed fertile and, erm, possibly up for it. This doesn't seem to be the case for other mammals though.

Sorry Galactus, but thats not what breasts are. Even other female mammal when giving milk have only limited visibility of swollen breasts. The Human female breast is a replication of "the buttock symbol" employed by most femate primates in estrous, check out the apptly named red arse monkey. The clevage symbol is very powerful, but very deceptive, many studies have been done on this (in night clubs mainly!), seriously, the buttock clevage and the breast cleavage are virtualy identical, and are believed to trace back to the start of upright walking. When Homo Erectus first appeared the buttocks symbol no longer applied as we - ahem- approached each other from the front as opposed to the rear.....

As for size the girls with smaller breasts can revel in the fact that they carry less fat than the other girls, as breasts are primaraly (95%) fat. The rest is the actual milk gland(s), hence the above of no other mammal with the same volume of breast.

Another view on size is to do with, and compliments above, the idea of health. That being the same as the crab with the big claw, the stag with the huge antlers etc. we see the protrubrence and think, must be healthy to be able to lug all that extra mass about, unless of course the rest of the bod matches pound for pound!

All that being said, (deep breath, hope the girlfriend isn't reading this, and if she is, I'm lying!!) I've been out with girls who have had all sizes (not at the same time!) from 32A to 48G, and I must say that it didn't really matter what their size was, I'm a guy, I was just happy to get my hand etc. on them!!

To quote a comedian I saw the other night, asking guys about breats is like the coke / pepsi challange, while we might state a preferance, a\t the end of the day we are happy with whatever the bar is serving!!

The only thing I think that most guys will agree with is the following, Girls 1 bra 2 breasts. Not as we see every now and again 1 bra 4 breast.....ugh, no overhang PLEASE!!!!!

Good to see the pencil test being mentioned :D In terms of when your chest may grow - I had nothing until I was 17, then they were a C cup, in my early 20's they were an E cup and now they have settled down to a D/DD cup... am happy with mine - though I would not tend to wear very low cut tops but I do wear tightfitting tops/halter neck tops and going without a bra is not an option as they bounce. I love mine because they are feminine, mark me as being a woman. Would not like to have a smaller chest as I am used to what I have and they suit my shape.

Well breast size makes no difference for me and I'm male so your theory that ''All men like large breasts'' is flawed. I'm not going to deny that alot of males are fascinated by large breasts but at the end of the day blokes are not going to go out with a women because she hasn't got large breasts. Men are fascinated of women as a whole not just because of their breasts.

This leads to the question how much bounce is too much bounce! From a male perspective this is a bit like the immovable object and unstoppable force question!!

Seriously, I'm always amazed, some days (generaly summer :) ) where you'll see a large breasted woman running and not a budge, not a quivver (thats some bra architecture!) and then see a relativly moderatly btreasted woman walk down, i say walk down the road and the bounce is like something from a beer add! Incredible the technology of clothes these days!!

    I know, I know,

The physiology involved, the single ligament connecting to the sixth rib being the only natural support and when this streches etc...

But when we see 'em boune that goes straight out of our minds, sorry..... ;)

Probably when they're obstructing her vision, it's too much bounce.

  • Moderators, Society & Culture Moderators Posts: 32,286 Mod ✭✭✭✭The_Conductor

Well- to redress the problem of "too much bounce"- there is the "over the shoulder - boulder holder"......
And then there are lots of interesting sports bras too.....

Minor bounce is fine- unless it is obviously causing the owner discomfort- then you end up feeling sorry for her, rather than attracted to her tits. I have a friend who actually ended up with lower lumbar problems, as a result of oversized mammaries, and had to have breasts surgically reduced (and a back brace too for a number of years).

The amount of totally ridiculous bras you see for sale- its not that they are tasteful even, they are not, nor do they fulfill any worthwhile function.

Out of curiousity- how many girls here go to the trouble of ensuring that they wear the right sized bra? Bet you its sweet shag all.....

This is aprapos of something I siad earlier, the wrong size bra can lead to lots of problems, be the unit be too loose or too small (the double busting I mentioned earlier)

I dont really have a preference... overly big is just ridiculous and not attractive at all. Being in proportion to the woman is the most important thing i think anyway :)

We need big, juicy, fertile breasts to feed our offspring.
So I vote Big ones are essential.
I'd pick small breasts over fake breasts any day though. Fake tits are just plain crap!
