While I would be afraid to try to curl each strand of hair with it (mmm, crispy), it's very easy to flick out the ends of your hair in a big wave. You just have to flick your wrist when you get down to the very end. It looks better on layered or shorter hair, and it gives a lot more movement than the boring old poker-straight 'do.

If you want to curl your hair, either get a round-barrelled hairbrush to use with your hairdryer, or a set of heated rollers.

yea i was pretty sure it couldnt be done either but when i was walkin past Peter Marks before christmas they had a big picture in the window of a GHD with the cord in a big barrel curl shape and a slogan along the lines of "is your GHD trying to tell you something"

    strange

You can, for really loose curls you wrap your hair in and around, in and around until all hair is wrapped up in your GHD. Seen it done in some magazine.

yeah, just get a lump of hair and wind it around one finger of the GHD then press the two fingers together and hold for say minute and a half.

lol, thats exactly what i was trying to say in a round about way. The word finger was eluding me for the GHD.

    Another possible way,
    1. twist hair around and around till you get a twisted ball of hair
    2. then place between GHD

I have seen this done on a girls hair and it looks lovely.

You might want to consider using the GHD iron oil before curling your hair cause it really works. It stops your hair from being singed but make sure you go over any where you spray with the GHD cause otherwise your hair just ends up greasy. Try scruching your hair till it's about half dry aswell cause then all you'll have to do is follow the curls in your hair alredy, like kinda an outline. Good luck with it.

I watched a stylist in Peter Marks do it once.. she kind of did it like you would curl a ribbon with a scissors.. same kind of idea and then pinned up the curls and sprayed with hairspray just to keep them in position for a while.. it looked fab when it was done.

so my advice.. ask next time you are in the hairdressers!!! :D
