Shuttle cooling?

I just got the shuttle XPC SB81P and am having some cooling problems. The shuttle isn't over heating or anything but i'd like if to be cooler, and to leave the cover on while playing games. Can anyone help??

the shuttle should run cooler with the cover on. its designed like that.

have you tried controlling the fan speeds? Speedfan will run the fans faster as the temps increase.

alternatively you could put a fan in with a higher CFM or get some round cables to give better airflow.
