no audio on dvds

When I reinstalled XP I seemed to be missing the decoders I need to play DVDs. I tried installing some codecs, and now the dvd plays the video stream fine, but there is no sound. The computer is playing sounds fine otherwise.

You'll be wanting an AC3 codec. Try here, here and here. If I remember rightly that should do the trick.
