Help! shy,getting the courage to ask a girl out on a date.

When i was in first year this gorgeous stunning girl sent me a rolo for Valetines day.At the end of the day at school and girl told me se sent me the rolo.I thanked her.I was 14 and hadn't much experience with girls although i had girls as friends.So just didn't do anything.The following year i got a Valetine's card just saying Guess who?.I didn't know who it was from.In 3rd year the Gorgeous stunning girl approached me and said would i go to the disco with her.I was really stunned,but some other girl was there and said the disco isn't on this week.A few months later the girl who gave me the rolo in first year ,her friend told me she can't stop talking about me.So she asked me would i go out with The gorgeous stunning gial and i said yes.so after lunch her friens were asking me am i going out with her and i said yes.I was really excited.So after the weekend ,monday arrived,i don't know why she said nothing to me as if she didn't know we were supposed to be going on a date.so nothing happend,i didn't even get to on that date.so lot's of times before i goto maths class the girl and her friends would say hi and would say hello back.Ive always wanted to ask her out on a date,but iv'e never done asked any girl out before and i always had this thing on my mind if i ask her out ,will i get rejected?.So in english class the girl had to sit beside me in class because the teacher said so and she had no book.during class she said nothing to me ,and when the bell rang she left.I left after my junior cert and thats two years ago.I waited outside the school a few weeks ago to see could a find her coming out but she probably was not in that day.So do you think this girl really liked me or was it nothing?Please help and if you think the girl liked me shold i make the first move.The problem is i don't know her mobile number,her address,and the crucial part has she got a Boyfriend now or since i left after 3rd year.Help would be appreciated.

If you happen to accidentally find out what she is doing or where she is then give it a go. Like bump into a friend some day or something. Don't go looking. But holy jesus two years ago?!?

She has forgotten. Trust me. So should you.

There are plenty more fish to catch.

Have you even seen her in the last two years? She might be a mutt by now ....

Anyway, leave it. Don't go hanging round school entrances or estates or anything. That's just a BIT extreme.

Ok, Beckham, if that is your real name: yes!

She did like you. Note the past tense "did". You even accidentally made yourself more attractive in her eyes at first, by not seeming that interested.

Now the question is how annoyed she is by you turning her down so many times (cos that's exactly what you did).

If you think you can find her, by all means go for it. But don't be surprised if she's annoyed with you. But there's a chance that she's willing to forget that, and go out with you.

She probably won't admit that she really wanted to go out with you - she may admit it later but possibly not, for face.

Go for it anyway, what's there to lose?

Hey, and don't think about it too much, just do it.

Almost definately... chicks you see... don't like to be wierded out by guys stalking them outside school... 'two years' after the last time she saw him.....

that's just not kosher.... in fact... to be honest... it's a little bit obsessive and you .... need .. to ... forget... about... her... and.... move... on.... I hate telling people that... and god knows... I've been guilty of being a real hypocrite on that front...

seriously though man

try finding a more easily accessable girl......

whatever you do... don't stalk her outside of school...... and for god sake... lay off the LSD man.

along the lines of what i was thinking

if you see her, bite the bullet and ask her. if she rejects you so what, you will probably not see her for another couple of years. you should really be thinking about moving on though and finding someone else

I think it's quite romantic, seems like this girl really liked this guy..

I say go for it man, wait for her outside school pluck up some courage and go talk to her.

How do you know she has?

From a female perspective, I think it's soo cute!! Best bet would be if you could find out her address somehow and send her a rose and a little note. At least that way there isn't the pressure of a surprise face to face meeting and if she has met somebody else it's easier for both her to tell you and you to hear it without much awkwardness!! I'm presuming you don't know where any of her friends live either???

Either way I think she'd be totally flattered that you still remember and feel so strongly about her!! You have nothing to lose.

You must forget about this girl!!! You've had her on your mind for the last two years?? It's time to go out and find a chick who is at least single. Who knows, maybe you'll bump into her sometime, but, you can't really go hanging around outside her school- what would you do if you saw her? NOTHING EXCEPT MAYBE FREAK HER OUT. It's not easy, but you need to move on my friend!

Well anywho if it isnt .... why not ask one of ur old school chums if they have her number or any of thier frnds have her number and then ehh....send her a txt saying hey remember me or somthing

becoz i think she would be a lil shocked if she found you waiting outside the school gates,

But seriously, think about it. You're coming out of school one day after a particularly taxing chemistry session and you just want to get the fnuck home so you can relax and maybe ring your boyfriend to complain about stuff when a guy you had a crush on when you were a kid comes up to you and says "yeah i've been hanging around here for the last couple of weeks and trying to find where you live cause i've been doing some serious thinking since that english class a few years back and maybe we should be together..."

Cute and all that at first but really, just not right.

Man, seriously, it's not good to get caught up in thinking what could have been. I'm telling you that you have worked it up to be something it isn't.

If you actually got with her it's highly likely that she isn't quite as nice as you remembered, picks her nose, eats too much cake and plays rugby.

hey, give it a shot. i met my partner 5 years after i left college, and i fancied her all the time i was in college with her!

of course, youre only about 16, so id say shes probably remembers you as a distant and dim memory and now wonders what she saw in you, and now only wants to go out with college guys withs.
