Decent boots

I need to get a new pair of boots - current pair are getting old & too soft to protect the top of the foot when I get stood on & the soles are coming away from the rest of the boot.

I prefer the standard forwards-style with 6/2 metal studs & ankle protection. I had a lovely pair of Nikes from years ago (that I didn't appreciate until I couldn't find them again).

Anyone know where I can get a good quality pair in Dublin/online? Tried Elverys Rugby shop but they kept trying to sell me fs*king soccer boots!

Mizuno classic with the high ankle is where it's at. Pricey, but by far the best boots available to my mind.

I absolutely must have the high ankles - I like my current ability to walk

The leather is usually tougher on the body too afaicr. Have emailed Elverys Dawson St to see what they come up with.

I have these Mizuno boots. I'm a number 3 and i would definitely recommend them.

Good solid boots for €60. Obviously the €100 Mizuno's own these ones but these do the job...
