OK guys, off to Paris next week, 5 nights. Nothing bar flights booked yet...

Which district should we be looking at & any recommendations etc.?

Budget will be somewhere around 100 yoyos per night (double room).

    Input appreciated :) .

Hotel Phenix (spelling is right I think) has no website but is listed on the web with an e-mail - usually good at responding in 1-2 days. Very cheap (it is 2 star) and parisian. Don't be put off by the rating it isn't a dump just budget. 1 Street away from the Arc de Trimuph and the top of the Champs Eylisses. Couldn't be more central and airport coach (not theirs!) drops you 1 street away. Should meet your budget.

Although if it's a romantic 2nd honeymoon kinda thing you might wanna move up a notch. The Quartier Latin area is lovely and much of it is aimed at students (maybe stay clear of the main boulevards to avoid tourist-priced areas).

    Enjoy!

Try this site http://www.france-hotel-guide.com/ for starters, there are 1,000s of hotels in Paris. And always have a look at Tripadvisor which is great for reviews
