Ram timings?

    How do i find the timings of my ram like the 2-2-2-7 or something like that?

    Have a root around in your BIOS there should be a section for memory timings, I'm not familiar with Epox mb's but look out for cas latencies and such. Should be easily enough found.

    AFAIK its CAS latency - ras to CAS delay - precharge time - RAS active time
    theres a few other figures too

    CAS Latency - RAS-to-CAS - RAS Precharge - Active to Precharge

    That's the default settings for your memory iirc. There is ram in the market that has either tighter timings or higher bandwith, or both :)

    Depends what you want to do and what your budget is really...

    sure you could improve it depending how good the ram is/how lucky you are

    ive got 200fsb stuff stock timings 2.5-4-4-8

    ive got them running at 230fsb 2.5-3-3-5

    i only notice the difference in benchmarks though... :rolleyes:
