I think he simply means they are being brought to mainstream attention. It is amazing how many people do not realise that casinos..oops...private members clubs exist in Dublin.

On a serious issue, Irish Casinos needs Irish Gaming Standards Regulations, mainly for the punters benefit.

I think they've recently started putting on one hold'em tournament a week, friday evening I think, not sure of the details though.
