Just got to thinking of all the mad trends I've followed in my last 28 years of life because of the latest fad ie. the shawl or poncho. I admit I bought one and wore it the weekend :o - won't be wearing it again - even though most people admired it - I felt really silly and uncomfortable.

Some other cringe fashion fads I've followed:

Perm - I wanted to look like Nenah Cherry or GLoria Estefan!

    Trousers with skirts attached.

    Banana Combs in my hair.

Fingerless gloves - well Madonna was my idol.

I could go on but spare you the horrible details - will finish my worst outfit ever was when I used to go to raves and wore a silver mini skirt and silver runners with chunky white heals :o - looking back I thought I was only gorgeous - glad I have no pics!

    Anyone else???

A top that was red white blue and grey horizontal strips, and too tight to be good - made me look like a squished up test card...

A pair of lime-green suede trousers. Well, at least they weren't bell-bottoms!

I spent several years with short hair- except for the fringe, which I let grow to over a foot in length, and tucked behind my right ear. I had to finally cut it off to get a summer job, and never bothered getting it back. Oddly, as soon as it went, girls started noticing me. I can't imagine why. Sure, I looked extremely scary and, yes, perhaps even psychopatic, but...

When I was twelve I wore a cotton jacket in the red-chequered lumberjack style for about 6 months.

I thought I was the dogs.

I love ponchos ... have been wearing them for years.. cept now they are in fashion so I feel like a clone.... and in a months time I'll look like a fashion reject cause I'll still be wearing them! Damm trends.

Fashion mistake no 1. multi coloured leggins when I was about 9 or 10 ... thought I was deadly.

Fashion mistake no 2. big black new rock boots when I was 14 with little summer dresses. Thought I was tank girl.
