Can you get Nokia facias made out of metal?

even dodgy third party hong kong imports would do!

looking for one for 7610.

if you can't get them can anyone think of a reason why not? would there be concern about electricution or anything like that?

Doesn't seam to be any metal (except chrome) ones there yet, but keep an eye on it.

Yep, ebay seems to have the widest choice of legit and not so legit Nokia covers. although I'm surprised metel covers are not more common, I'd imagine they would offer more protection to your phone from knocks and scratches.

There are loads of metal covers available for the lower end(3200, etc) nokias, but the 7610 is probably a less common phone, so the market for metal covers is likely smaller than that for the 3200.

I've seen gold and silver plated phone covers for other models on ebay.com, maybe it will just take a bit of time for them to emerge for the 7610, seeing as how it's still a new model

have you even seen a totally metal cover? like aluminium or something? not just metal plated plastic? I'd like something a little stronger than plastic to cover my investment!
