Is there anywhere for Ice Skating in Dublin?

    Does anyone know a place where we can go ice skating in dublin?

    Ever since 7up christmas on ice at the RDS me and my best friend went there and she has been wanting to go somewhere for ice skating again and im not having much luck with finding anywhere.

    I remember years ago there was a place on the north circular road (or somewhere around there) up from mountjoy prison but i dont know if its still there.

    Anyone know?

    There are now NO ice rinks in Dublin, or in the Republic of Ireland, anymore.
    Silver Skate ice rink in Phibsboro, and Dolphins barn rink, closed down several years ago.

    There's just the ice rink in Dundonald (outside Belfast) now. It's a sorry state of affairs, really. It's sickening the amount of money that's being made over the christmas period by the temporary ice rinks, we need a decent, PERMANENT rink in Dublin.
