petition to rename April fools day

    perhaps something like Sceptics Day or Paranoia Day....

    Im guilty, and Im sure the rest of you are, of taking everything said on this day with a pinch of salt, so much so that there arent really any places that I would trust 100% to tell the truth...

    Take the story of that guy Deasy today, it was true, and despite the fact that Kenny, Ahern and others commented on the situation, I, along with others, took some convincing before i believed it....

    you cant trust anyone at all today... or at least you dont think you can...

    Rename it to Annoying Pricks Day. I'm sick of people trying to fool me with the stupidest crap. It's gotten to the stage where I'll just disbelieve most information that isn't too important. And trying to fool me about anything that is important ("John, your mother's in the hospital!") will get them a slap in the face anyway for joking about something like that.

    Despite the above mini-rant though I'm actually in a good mood today with me spiffy new notebook, which happily turned out not to be an April Fools joke.

    havent had any of the personal/important ones this year, although i do despise the 'your shoes untied' ones, that i thought I'd left behind along with the 12 times tables and long division....
    I mean, if your gonna try and fool me, give me some credit and put some effort into it!
