right, the bbc are at it again...

theyre polling for the best song ever written and i feel, well, dutybound to try and mess it up...again. last year 'a nation once again' was voted as the best song (mwah ha ha) thanks to a large amount of online irish interest, and i feel that we must uphold this tradition of mucking it up. now, im not being anti-british...dont get me wrong, i just like to throw a spanner in the works and also want to hear them play THE FIELDS OF ATHENRY' on bbc2 radio.

(sounded so damn good floating over twickenham)

so if you have a minute to spare (thats all it takes) then log on to:

    www.bbc.co.uk/radio2/soldonsong/top100/

    go raibh maith agaibh,

    catsup :D

Ha ha ha! Not even mildly amusing the first time, I'm not even sure what it is now.

I think it would be much funnier if everyone voted for a song that had shítloads of cursing in it. The BBC would flip...:D

    Any thoughts?

Well. I dunno about you, but I'm voting for Killing in the Name, if only just to hear them play it on Radio2.

They'd probably just play it if you emailed them and asked.

These polls have been totally overdone now. I saw a piss take on some comedy programme where someone imitating Davina McCall was doing Britain's top 100 favourite shapes. 'twas funny and showed up how irrelevant they are now.
