Have you been effected by avatar theft?

I'm interested in finding out if any of you have ever had your avatar stolen by someone else you've never even heard of on Boards.
Or do you sometimes worry that one day you'll log on to find somebody else using your avatar?
In our recent survey 7 out of 10 people don't even look at your name when reading your post, they simply go by avatar and assume that person must be who they think the person is that uses that avatar the most.
The risk of someone posting using your avatar is on the increase and something must be done.

Buy a subscription to boards, and upload your own avatar. Tbh, if you care that much, you need to log off more.

as i have seen your avatar been used by a load of people static what i think you should do is stand up for your own individuality!

i too once loved my avatar, then i suddenly noticed how others began to steal mine and eventually it just became too much! i joined the anti-avatar theft unit and changed my avatar to the unibomber. I hope one day we will be victorious and i will be able to rest on both ears again!
