I ordered clothes of the net from www.footlocker.com. Delivery from footlocker was $30 and total cost for everything worked out at €133.51.

When i got home tonight there was a letter from GLS Ireland saying, I have to pay €56.24 to customs and I have 10 days to confirm and on delivery I have to pay.
I have ordered stuff of this site before and it came to €115 and It was delivered no problem.

€56 is preety steep and having to pay cash on delivery and there website they give www.gls-ireland.com doesn't work.

Has this happend to anyone else?

well the vat on that is 23.50 approx, and the income duty would probably the same. What you should be glad of is the fact that you didn't get burned the first time around.

    Pay it ffs

€28.04 would be VAT, import duties would be modest and the rest is the handling fee for GLS, who generally have a bad reputation.

Is the vat rate not 17.5 percent for clothes?
