    I'm just wondering has anyone else sent Play.com's customer support a query and not got a response (ignoring the auto-reply which says you'll get a response within 24 hours!)? The mail was sent 5 days ago.

    My problem is that I want them to change my delivery address to an address in a different country to my credit card address. On registration they wouldn't let me do that but I've ordered from them before christmas and collected the stuff when I was home. Now i want to see if they'll let me change that address as it should be obvious it's not a stolen CC or whatever. Anyone know why this restriction is there?

    my play.com account has a differant address for delivery than for the credit card...U surely should be able to logiin and change profile?


    I did it on initial account set up

    The country of the delivery address is different to the country on the credit card billing address. That seems to be the problem.

    call them
    they will sort it out for you there and then, I had to call them for a different reason and they were very helpful

    I've found their customer service to be extremely good... Very prompt at responding to requests..

    Just because your credit card has been used for a couple of transactions, doesn't necessarily
    mean that your credit card hasn't subsequently been stolen.

    BTW: I can change the country of my delivery address at will. You should be able to as well.

    Yes I can change it online but as soon as I order anything I get a mail saying they won't ship it because the address is in a different country.

    I think I'll try calling them.

    Hmm.. You may have problems then, if they've specifically forbidden the practise..

    I'm assuming that it was done initially for security reasons that's why I want to ask them again. It's a bit of a problem when they won't even answer your question though!
