Play.com question

Is there any way to do order tracking on packages sent from play.com? I ask because Play supposedly sent me my copy of FFX-2 on the 18th, and I still haven't received it nearly a week later. I've checked the site and whenever I go to my account all it says is that it was an order, but that order has already been completed and posted. I got an email, and it gives a referance number, but I have no idea who they use to post to Ireland.

I really want to play this game, and ordered it online purely to have it sooner than trying to get it in the shops, and now I end up waiting nearly a week after it's been posted with no word of it yet.

Nope there isn't. They send via normal post (hence the free postage) and it sometimes takes a while. Usually my stuff arrives within a week to a week and a half.

The longest I've had to wait was 4 weeks though that only happened once! After 3, I emailed them and they despatched a new copy free of charge. Got both together

They price the stuff with something like 5-10% 'loss in transit' factored in, so theres no hastle with them at all...

I have never tracked a package from play. Dont know that they even do it.

I find that usually it takes about 7 working days to get to my house [Dublin]. However it can take 3 days to get to my brothers house in Scotland. I blame An Post, pack of azy ****es. I've noticed that they dont always provide me with my post each day. I had 3 items once sent out at the same time, two arrived on a monday and the thried on a wednesday. Weird how that can happen seeing as though they were all sent together at the same time.

Usually takes about a week to a week and a half. I think that after 21 days, if it still hasn't arrived, you ring 'em up and they'll send out a new one.

i bet it will be there tomorrow if it was sent on the 18th. i usually wait a week, the longest i have had to wait was 10 days due to a weekend

I've never gotten anything from play.com within at least 8 days. Just wait. And stop complaining :P.

Wahh wahh wahh my FREE DELIVERY package hasn't arrived within ten seconds of my ordering it wahh wahh wahh! Sheesh, give it time :rolleyes:

Oh, i'm sorry, when I looked at play.com and it said to give it 3 - 5 days for delivery and it didn't turn up after 6, I thought I dunno, I'll just ask if anyone knows about this kinda thing.

Excuse me for my ignorance in trying to find out an answer to a question. :rolleyes:

i've noticed that every now and again a package that is listed as being "posted" wont turn up after a few days. If you just ring them or email them they will send out a new one with no arguments. It's as if they know that it was never sent in the first place! Still though....their customer service is very good

Its the first time i've ordered anything online from anyone, so I'm totally clueless about this. I don't particularly mind the fact that it'll take a few days more as such, it's just....I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY WANNA BE PLAYING THAT GAME DAMMIT!!111!!
