Silly test type thing

    Ok, a friend gave me this question thingmy...

    John likes 400 but not 300; he likes 100 but not 99; he likes 3600 but not 3700. Which does he like?
    900
    1000
    1100
    1200

    I know my answer, and my reasons, but what do you think?

    But anyway i say 900

    ....i have my reasons too :)
    I'm pretty sure it's part of some IQ test :dunno:

    Yup, I think it's 900 for the same reason, but I've someone who's insisting it's 1200 for this reason...

    "right reason is because 100 is a quarter of 400 (ie. 4 x 100 = 400) so 1200 x 4 =3600"

    ... which sounds like a very sucky answer to me

    i'm sitting here trying to work out which is worse:
    a) that you have to ask
    b) that you're asking people's help with an IQ test
    c) people cannot multiply...
