I don't really know where to post this one, but they, here goes.

Mods...if it needs to be moved, can someone please do it...cheers.

    Anyhoo....

I want to get rid of one of them operator logo's from my mobile phone(Nokia 3310).

I got the logo a few years ago, and now its kind of not funny anymore.

I was going to do the oul "Restore Factory Settings! but I don't know what affect this will have on the rest of the operations, or if it will even work for what I want.

    Can anyone help?

    Please.

I got rid of one once, by ringing the operator I got it from and quoting a number in one of their ads, which promised to restore to network logo. Granted it cost me money to get rid of it, but there must be a way of doing that from the phone itself

Can't be done from the phone itself, AFAIK. They way I used to do it is to send a blank op logo or one that's set to a different operator than the one you use. It helps to pick one that your never likely to use, like immarsat or something. Unfortunatly I dont have the setup to do it anymore. But I'm sure if you take this to the mobiles board, someone there would be happy to oblige. It'd just involve you giving them your number and they could send the dud op logo to your phone.

    Check bullet 7.

It's a UK number that costs 1GBP, so it'll cost you about 2 euros total to do it!

Never tried it, so don't know if it works...
