right...owned a scooter for nearly three years. A silver Vespa ET4. got stolen last weekend from outside my house. it's apparent they backed in with a van three muscleheads or maybe six scrawny junkies and loaded it on. not that i'm going to get this back. where do these end up ?

yes...a quality lock... steering lock was on, immobiliser too. but unattached to a padeye or railing or gate on this occasion. kicking myself for that so don't need to hear about stupidity and what i shud have done etc

this year i got the "cheap" insurance ...no theft cover ...cos my premium kept going UP every year ...no ...well..cos Aon insurance is the only company who insure motorbikes in this country by arrangement and have a monopoly. anyway thats anoth thread.

like i said. not that i'm going to get this back. where do these end up ?

    yours,
    dependent on public transport

Stripped or driven into the ground and burned out I assume.

My mate's was stolen last Wednesday from outside his house. Happened sometime between 9 and 10 in the morning. It would seem it was stolen in a similar manner to yours, and he also was only covered for third party.
