for the love of st bernadette and the 7 shaven headed lepers.... EJ needs to concentrate on getting a good driver (e.g Jos) instead of poncing around on his yachts...

That would be Giorgio Pantano. He's actually very promising and he also brings a sizeable budget along with him, which can't be bad. Last year in F3000, he was one of the only drivers in the field to consistently show some flair and maturity.

Tbh, Jos had his time many moons ago with Benneton and failed to impress. I'd place more stock in Heidfeld for a start.

So would I, but he needs an experienced team-mate not some beginner who will destroy the car every other weekend Sato style!

yeah I agree Kalina, I think heidfeld will do great things (fingers and toes crossed), but Jos would have been an experienced partner for him...

I dont think even Aerton Senna could hope to achieve anything but top 10 in the championship with the current drastically underfunded Jordan.

well if it rains really bad and lots of drivers spin off and more have engine failure, who knows what might happen to jordon!

Perhaps a little light is shed on the matter in this article which alleges that Jos was not overly enthusiastic towards the deal.

Rejecting a fitness test and a seat fitting is pretty rum indeed.
