but as an FYI apologies for my sudden disapparance (sp?) from boards over the past week it was a friend of mine's 21st and i went to dublin for the week as work has got me all stressed out over the last week and i needed some chill out time.

ive been speaking to thaed and she's lost her net access for a while eircom are playing silly buggers and she's in a tug o war with them atm so i'll play on with her charachter in SLA so we can kick start that off tomorrow night properly. as for dragon mountain Thaed apologies but for the time being its on hold till she gets net access back,

so im going to catch up on all the posts ive missed over the last 5 days then come back tomorrow (yep im still on nites) and start playing SLA again

Well at the moment the games are all sort of frozen as most of the DM's (accept me) cant start the games,

if you want to play your more than welcome to join in, there are 3 games currently being played, i dont know if you've ever played any online text based games before or even if you've ever roleplayed before so im sorry if this seem's a little simplistic.

the 3 games we have running at the mo are:

SLA Industries - Is a Sci Fi Role playing game
AD&D - Is a medevil role playing game
Specters - Is a horror game.

you can play all 3 games if you want to, the only thing we ask is that you are able to post at least once a day to keep the games running, the only game thats running at the moment is SLA industries. the other 2 games will be starting soon,

either PM me or post here which games you want to play wild eyed and i'll give you all the detail then

I'm actually in limbo....and damned uncomfortable it is too!

The small, sqashy pink person who moved into my house just before christmas keeps making noise and producing smells etc that need attention and it's keeping me from my duties.

Don't want to kick off the game until I can dedicate myself to it reasonable consistantly...so I am sorry to all those who are similarly in limbo.

We WILL begin the Spectres game soon and it'll be both crackingly good fun and spine chillingly terrible at the same time.

aaaahhh havlock but they can move faster than a normal person on foot!

yea spectors sounds like a groovy game read the storyline here

oh and for all you SLA players out there - im absoutly 100% really really serious ....... this time, i'll be posting the next game turn around 6 ish tonight i'll guarantee it*

In my game RPG beats a car every time, plus magnetic mercrey switched car bombs under the hubs or in the wheel house. Even a simple RDX baggie, shoved down the petrol tank with a chem fuse. Plus 2 feet can go up stairs and in elvators, 4 wheels pretty much fixed to roads...see? Or want a demo?

Fortunately, this allows me to work on that GURPS game I've been meaning to try, with samurai on motorbikes, giant ants, and Mad Max chases, all set in a post apocalyptic wasteland Japan. You know it makes sense. Ninjas on bikes!

I'm back from the land of chilli dogs and presidential elections (I said elections not the same word with an 'r' in it :rolleyes: ) and nothing appears to have actually happened in the game thread...mostly because Al][en has been terrorising the world with his car....shame he's not a Ninja Nun 'cos then he could terrorise the world on a bike....actually if he was post apocoyptic he could be Radio Active Ninja Nun on a bike which would be really cool....

You'll be pleased to know (I'm sure) that I spent my time in the US wisely. No, I did not spend it in seedy lap dancing bars and strip joints, nor did I spend it all drinking and riding rodeo bulls, although the opportunities were a-plenty.

No, instead I sat dutifully in my hotel room...usually from abou 4.00am when my body clock said it was time to get out of bed...and worked stoically on Spectres stuff.

So now I have piles.

Yes, piles of Spectres stuff to re-edit and shove out to your expectant little in boxes.

Yes, I did see the joke in using the word "speculate" before I left. You don't live this long with this pair of glasses without learning all the specky jokes and puns that there are, believe me.

I also wrote a little introductory story type thingy which I'm currently putting the finishing touches on which gives a sort of flavour of what may be to come. 'nother couple of thousand words to put on that before it's completely finished but may serialise it here (actually in the Spectres thread) to get around the post word limit thingy.

Otherwise....yeehaaarrr and Howdy and other such fine american expressions to you all and I'll be back in the saddle 110% pretty soon.

Yaaaaaaay im allowed back on the internet again

i wasnt kidding by the way what i said i was banned, i got 3 hrs sleep a night for 8 days and sorta went a bit looney for a while (i even had a crazy cert but they made me give it back) im back with a vengance and i too also spent my time wisley getting piles and piles (no not the lumps on your bum) of SLA stuff written up and chars updated game turns figured out so once i get the early morning work outta the way let the games begin.

Squall will be happy to hear that i also got the SLA level up document done i'll be Emailing it to people come the weekend can you all PM me your Email addresses again and i'll send it to you then.

Alien was a good man, although a bit too fond of the fat frogs and women with tongue rings.

He loved to tease us by posting hede post the next game turn in a few hours then dissapear for a week. I remember this one time he told me ide recieve a particularly overdue document and im still waiting for it......awww he was a such a kidder.

btw i did Email you guys the SLA level up charachter documnets check your E-Mails guys i sent it sunday afternoon. I can re-send them again just gimme a holler.
If you have been reading my Journal you'll realize why i havent been on boards in a while and why i didnt get a chance to Post the next turn as i was banned from using the intenet for the whole lack of sleep thingy but ive bounced back again so gimme a few hrs n i'll try to post the next game turn..... promise..... really.... honest.....

If we were playing Dragon Mountain I would be a ribboned vegan with no talent for make-up, no fashion sense and a plucky attitude who answered to the name of Polly while Specky would be a three foot bundle of imbalanced hormones and gay fantasies.
