    A list of irish cities?????

    Lifford
    Sligo
    Monaghan
    Castlebar
    Drogheda
    Dublin
    Galway
    Tullamore
    Wicklow
    Arklow
    Shannon
    Limerick
    Foynes
    New Ross
    Waterford
    Killarney
    Cork

I though the definition for a city is a certain population level and also a cathedral?
Maybe im wrong or its changed over the years...

So what exact criteria are required these days for a town/village to be classed as a
    city?

    Tox

Some of these figures are surely either made up, or are completely out of date.

A town has to have a charter to be a city. That's why Kilkenny is a city and Tallaght is not although Tallaght has more inhabitants.

That site is a load of rubbish.

I don't need a website to tell me we live in one of the shíttest countries in the world...

    Rip off
    Bitchy women
    Cold
    No jobs
    No facilities
    etc etc etc!

    (I'm having a bad day)

    :(

Kilkenny isn't a city no more, they downgraded it there a while back. Absolute disgrace so it is, it being a former capital and everything.

Did anyone notice the top 10 list of mobile phone users? Finland is top with 67.8%, and Ireland isn't anywhere on list. As far as I know Ireland is 75% in this, and should have been top
