Rubens signs til 2006

Rubens finally got his contract with Ferrari extended til 2006- to match Schumacher Brawn and the rest. So that leaves Fisichella out in the cold- apparently he was hoping that his drive wih Sauber would feed him into a Ferrari within a season or 2. By the time 2007 rolls around he'll probably have reached his sell-by date.
I also read that EJ has said Verstappen and Heidfeld are top of his list of potential 2004 drivers which isn't good news for McNish.
Any opinions on the driver line-ups for this season?

Like to see Verstappen get a stab in the Jordan, tho he'll just be racing the Minardis tbh. I likes Heidfeld, one of my fave drivers. And altho Jordan are my fave team I'm disappointed he hasn't got any better opportunities! :dunno:

ahh ferrari should get rid of barrichello, i like the guy and all but at the end of the day he's never going to be a world champion (kinda like coulthard in that respect) i also would like to see fisi get a shot ah well....

so is mcnish still test driving renault next season?

Barrichello has served his time in a few crap teams in F1 before getting the ferrari drive and in that respect has the experience now to be world champ in the next 3 years.DC i agree would be mediocre in any lower ranked teams.

interesting doesn't heidfeld have links with mercedes also, yeah makes sense to me now, heidfeld and dc in a jordan mercedes in 2005
