Chapters on abbey Street oppposite the side entrance to easons used to buy secondhand books. Not sure if they still do or if academic books is their thing.
Most of the school bookshops sell second hand books so I assume they take them too.

If you're feeling generous, there's the oxfam book shop on parliament st. Not sure if they take academic books, might be worth a call first.

Rathmines bookshop take in academic books, they'll hardly give you anything for them though. There is a place in the student centre in UCD where you can drop in your books, and they sell them for 2/3 the original price. If they manage to sell them I think you get 1/2 the price or something, not too sure though cos I've never done it. You might have to be a UCD student to use it, but if thats the case just get some student you know and get them to do it.
