Yeah I don't think that knacks like "prodies" and chavs probably don't like "paddys"...maybe we could let them meet together on some island and kill each other?

In my experience 'townies' and 'kevs' are the more common designations, with 'pikey' applied if subject is criminal as opposed to merely a twat.

Love the idea but sadly twould never work... they'd insist on taking their cars, on the boat they'd try to outdo each other's sound systems and the combined effect of all their stupidly excessive bass would sink the boat... now that I think about it that's a pretty happy ending for me... you'd still be stuck with your skangers though :P

I'd also add those sh!tty cheap black jackets with the blatantly fake fur on the hood to the list of male townie uniform - I was in Dagenham (a lovely place to live) yesterday and EVERY member of the male gender under 30 was wearing one.

I've still never heard of a chav though

Funnily, the people in "chav" of the month looked positively elegant compared to the average Cork skanger.

Good call. You could take pictures discreetly in a crowded place like a shopping centre (with, importantly, security guards) or from the distance in a car or something.

Is it legal to post ppl's photos that have been taken secretly on the web though? They did it on that site but it seems a bit dodgy to me.

AFAIK it's illegal, although newspapers are always posting pictures of people without their permission and getting away with it. Not like the skangers would find out anyway.
