World Cup 2026 After Hours Thread

Just got into the stadium just now. Queue for HOURS! Just heard Canada scored???

Miralem Pjanic only 36 , surprised he didn't find a way to keep going longer so he could've potentially have played in this world cup

Not quite sure what is happening. We have two people who seem to be apologizing to each other while people dressed in gold try to play with footballs but they keep losing them and running after them :)

Wow…. everyone is leaving the pitch in a seriously orderly fashion. This is the most incredible thing I have seen today! It's like a little ant workers farm!

The stadium here is packed with people who are…. SITTING… and Scrolling on phones….. they are all dressed out in all the colors. Its an amazing amount of dead meat :/

Hoping when the players come on the pitch they will get up and off their trott… feet!

I remember a sketch from David Baddiel where he said to the USA "This is not a fun game, its OUR game and you have ruined it!" and I have been looking for it on you tube. If anyone can find this old old clip let me know. It seems fitting.

Ream just missed two practice short passes totally and then missed his mouth with two bottles of water. He is running back and forth on the side lines. USA looking like scared amateurs here! Im usually impartial but I really wanna see this team beaten :)

The seats middle pitch right and left remain mostly empty

not sure I have seen this many empty seats since the u15 cmagogie! I am informed Tom Cruise in somewhere signing autographs…. though none of them have ever seen paper OR pen before!!! This is wild.

ok my favorite moment was when the announcer in the brown suit came out and a guy in front of me dropped his beer and his hot dog and shouted…. I kid you not…. "Is that iron man???"

Thats going to be my world cup moment :)

The anthem was a flop here in the stands. It was NOT the flower of Scotland I tell you :)

I think its just become me reporting from the stands :)
