"From the river to the Sea" - the Likud policy fully underway:

    Haaretz straplines (free by email)

The Netanyahu government is completing a broad move for the wholesale legalization and budgeting of illegal outposts beyond the Green Line, some in enclaves deep within Area A, which is fully administered and secured by the Palestinian Authority, and Area B, where the PA shares defense duties with Israeli authorities.

As part of this move, the government passed a decision in an urgent telephone vote last week to allocate over 100 million shekels ($34 million) for the planning of outposts. In the coming days, it plans to approve the allocation of over a billion shekels for the establishment and development of the outposts under the definition of "temporary sites," even before they are fully legalized.

Last week's decision, which passed under the technical title of Planning Legalization of Locales, included a budget of 125 million shekels to promote "initial planning legalization for settlements in the rural area of Judea and Samaria [the West Bank], which the security cabinet decided to legalize by December 2025."

The pressure for action against Israel continues at pace:

"The op-ed has been written ahead of a meeting of EU foreign ministers in Luxembourg next week and an EU summit in Brussels, which will consider calls for the EU to curtail trade with Israel and suspend elements of the EU-Israel Association Agreement.

The editorial said: "The European Union cannot stand aside."

The barbaric treatment he has received shows how evil Israel is.

    https://english.almayadeen.net/news/politics/dr--hussam-abu-safiya-placed-in-solitary-after-500--days-det

Palestinian doctor Hussam Abu Safiya, director of Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza, has been placed in solitary confinement after more than 500 days in Israeli prison without formal charges, according to accounts from his family and medical rights organizations.

Abu Safiya was detained at his workplace on December 27, 2024 during "Israel's" invasion of northern Gaza. Since then, he has remained in custody under "Israel’s" “unlawful combatant” designation, a classification that allows extended detention without trial or indictment.

Physicians for Human Rights Israel (PHRI) reported that Abu Safiya was recently transferred from Ketziot Prison to Ramon Prison, located within the Ganot prison complex, where he was subsequently placed in solitary confinement. The organization stated that the occupation did not provide any justification for the transfer.

A legal visit conducted last month documented accounts of deteriorating detention conditions, including untreated medical issues, restricted food access, and worsening health complaints.

Britain, Canada, France, Australia and Norway ALL had citizens on board the Global Sumud Flotilla that was unlawfully intercepted by Israeli naval forces in international waters. The activists were brought to Israel and held in detention.

What’s already in place in West Bank's “AREA C”, with the Jewish Israeli illegal settlements, has always been a RED FLAG for what will potentially happen with Trump’s SHAM Board of Peace plans for Gaza.

There is a widespread international consensus among political analysts, diplomats and foreign ministers (5 Nation Coalition), UN independent Inquiry, etc., that Israel is establishing a permanent military presence in Gaza and will never fully leave. Look at Gaza’s map where Israel have advanced from the Yellow Line and are occupying over 60 percent of Gaza’s territory.

    WEST BANK
NB: Under Oslo Accords, East Jerusalem was EXCLUDED from administrative zones A, B & C. To be finalised at a later date.

The 1995 Oslo II Accords were intended to be a transitional period, not to exceed 5 years. And, the 3 administrative zones of West Bank were meant to be transferred to the Palestinian Authority (PA), where they would have full jurisdiction - without interference from Israel. This never transpired.

Israel is now moving in on administrative zone ”AREA A” (18% of land) where the PA has both civil and security control.

ISRAEL is prohibited from entering AREA A.

    • Administrative zone: “Area C” comprises 60% of the land, and is controlled by ISRAEL.
    • Administrative zone: “Area B” makes up 22% of land where PA has civil control and ISRAEL controls SECURITY.

AREA A’S MAJOR CITIES INCLUDE BETHLEHEM, JERICHO, RAMALLAH, NABLUS, TULKARM, QALQILYA, AND HEBRON

^ Under 1997 Hebron Protocol, Hebron city was partitioned to divide security responsibilities: HEBRON (H1) has West Bank’s largest population. PA controls 80% of this city (H1).

HEBRON (H2) Israel has military SECURITY Control of 20%. Palestinian Authority has civic control.

^ However, there is a settlement exception where ISRAEL has DE FACTO civil administration over the ILLEGAL Jewish settlements located inside Hebron H2. ^ ⬇️

“High Court orders state to explain expansion of Hebron settler autonomy”
“Flashpoint city’s Palestinian municipality claims military order establishing new body to tend to infrastructure needs of city’s Jewish residents would trump its own authority”
By Jacob Magid, 5 July 2018
    https://www.timesofisrael.com/high-court-orders-state-to-explain-expansion-of-hebron-settler-autonomy/

“The panel of three judges gave the state 120 days to explain why it should not revoke a military order that transfers responsibility for the settlers’ infrastructure needs — including electricity, road pavings, and sewage — from the city’s Palestinian municipality to a new Israeli municipal committee under the Interior Ministry’s jurisdiction that supersedes the local authority.

“The August 2017 order signed by the head of the IDF’s Central Command had been lauded by right-wing ministers as a move would strengthen the Jewish community in the flashpoint city. [...]

[This is the reality for 40,000 Palestinians:] Under the Hebron Protocol signed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in January 1997, the West Bank’s most populous city was divided into two sections. H1 includes 80 percent of the city and lies under full Palestinian control. In H2, 500 Israeli settlers live in fortified compounds heavily guarded by the IDF in the midst by 40,000 Palestinians, whose movements are highly restricted. ⬅️

I’ve posted upthread on the “panopticon” - leaked documents from Drop Site News; and as discussed on DemocracyNow! I wrote the planned digital biometrics for Gazans in NEW RAFAH is beyond 1984.

They will know everything you do and everywhere you go. You can’t go through a gate without their permission. You can’t buy and you can’t sell anything without them knowing (electronic Shekel wallets to do transactions - monitoring where Palestinians spend their money).

@Wildgreen gave us a link : My Reply Post #57870 and dated 26-01-2026

2 excerpts from my comments to wildgreen ~

I think the Master Plan (e.g., digital biometric, re-education programmes, electronic Shekel wallets to do transactions...) for Rafah will serve as a pilot for their other housing ZONES. Rafah was levelled by Israeli bombardment and is being renamed “New Rafah”.’ [...]

In mid-2025, Israeli Minister for Defence Katz told reporters about “relocating” 2 million Palestinians to Rafah. Katz also spoke about encouraging Palestinians to “voluntarily” emigrate to other countries.

Bear in mind, it isn’t just a “NEW RAFAH”, there’s a NEW GAZA, which was formally presented by Jared Kushner and US’s Board of Peace at Davos World Economic Forum (January 2026). New Gaza is pitched as the "Riviera of the Middle East” - along the Mediterranean coast.

Under the official charter of the Board of Peace, Trump holds absolute veto power and permanent leadership that is legally independent of his position as POTUS.

^The 'Great Israeli Real Estate Event' is scheduled for 14 June 2026.

Kristyan Benedict, Amnesty International UK's Crisis Response Manager, calls for immediate action to block the event on UK soil; And to “Implement a comprehensive ban on all trade, investment and financial services that facilitate or incentivise the settlement enterprise and its expansion.”
    https://www.amnesty.org.uk/latest/uk-amnesty-condemns-great-israeli-real-estate-event-promoting-illegal-settlement-property-sales-in-london/

"Israel's unlawful land confiscation, home demolitions, alongside the rapid growth of illegal settlements and outposts on Palestinians' ancestral lands are devastating Palestinian lives and their protected rights under international law.

"The UK government must ensure they halt all trade, cooperation and investment relations enabling unlawful occupation and apartheid. It can start by taking strong action against the organisers of this event and ensuring it is not allowed to promote illegal activities on UK soil.

"This isn't a property fair. It's apartheid and annexation with a sales pitch."

The event forms part of a broader pattern of international activity promoting settlement investment, at a time when the Israeli government has dramatically accelerated settlement construction and land annexation across the West Bank.

The violence, intimidation, ethnic cleansing, and genocide never stops. The christian bible will have to be rewritten in the future to move the stable from Bethlehem to some god-forsaken golf course in Florida.

On June 9, extremist Israeli settler groups launched a coordinated arson attack on the historic Christian village of Taybeh in the occupied West Bank, torching agricultural fields east of Ramallah as part of a systematic campaign of ethnic cleansing.

The violence against the 3,000-year-old village intensified following the establishment of an illegal settlement outpost in the immediate vicinity, as local residents of Taybeh face persistent encroachment and assaults by Israeli settlers whose stated objective is to seize the area's rich pastoral lands.

Interesting that the pro-Israelis are getting outraged about an alleged Palestinian terrorist when the Israeli Minister of National Security is an actual convicted terrorist and racist - Itamar Ben-Gvir.

I hope the ICC have an arrest warrant for Israel’s Defence Minister Israel Katz.

“Israeli minister confirms goal of large-scale expulsion of Palestinians from Gaza”

‘Human rights groups and lawyers say ‘voluntary migration’ policy amounts to ethnic cleansing’
    Emma Graham-Harrison,
    Thu 28 May 202
    https://www.theguardian.com/world/2026/may/28/israels-defence-minister-says-large-scale-palestinian-migration-from-gaza-will-go-ahead

“Israel’s defence minister has said he is committed to the ethnic cleansing of Gaza through large-scale migration of Palestinians as part of Israel’s long-term plans for the territory.

“Israel Katz said the government would implement a plan for large numbers of Palestinians to leave Gaza “at the right time and in the right manner”, in a statement on Wednesday marking the targeted killing of Mohammed Odeh, Hamas’s most recent military commander.

Pushing for mass departures violates Donald Trump’s ceasefire plan for Gaza, which Israel signed last year. The second point of the plan states: “Gaza will be redeveloped for the benefit of the people of Gaza, who have suffered more than enough.” […]

Israel-based human rights organisations and lawyers have warned that the conditions Israel has imposed on Gaza mean no departure can be considered voluntary and the policy constitutes planning for ethnic cleansing.

The greatest danger to Israel's continued existence comes not from the Palestinians, Hamas, Hezbollah or the Houthis. It comes from Israel herself. This is what all the rabid Zionists don't seem to grasp. People can understand Israel retaliating for October 7th. But what they've done is maniacally out of proportion for the act which justified a retaliation.

The basic problem I see is that the Israelis don't see Palestinians as being equal to them. They never have since the country was founded back in 1948. Even you suggest on line a Palestine from the river to the sea where ALL live as equal under the law Zionists go tonto. Israel will never allow a Palestine to flourish. Therefore a two state solution is impossible.

Therefore the're almost making it necessary for Israel to be dissolved as an entity to have true peace in the middle east. Israel's reaction to October 7th has made it a pariah nation around the world. I'm struggling to see how they recover from this.

The basic premise of Israel's creation in 1948 made it impossible to succeed as an entity as it required land to be taken from the Palestinians. The only hope it had of lasting for eternity was to found a state where all were equal before the law. But that's never been the case. People who are prosperous have less reason to be militant.

Israel had the world's sympathy after what Hamas did on October 7th. And they squandered that in the most appalling fashion imaginable. They used it as cover to further their greater Israel goal and crossed the line of what an acceptable response is up to and including genocidal warfare on innocent civilians. In fact they not only crossed the line, they're so far beyond that line that's it's way out of sight now.

Israel is currently a sick society full of bloodlust and led by some of the most disgusting people seen since the Second World War. Whatever's coming, I only hope the decent people in Israel give the likes of Netanyahu, Smotrich and Ben-Givir the heave ho…and soon. They are destroying them.

New Amnesty report. These are very useful as historical documents to prove the complicity of the Israeli and Western governments and silent international organisations.

    https://www.amnesty.org/en/latest/research/2026/06/israel-west-bank-ethnic-cleansing/

Since 1967, Israel has been enforcing its occupation through military orders and regulations. The situation in the OPT, including in Area C of the West Bank, is therefore primarily governed by international humanitarian law (including the rules of the law of occupation); and international human rights law. The same international norms apply to occupied East Jerusalem, illegally annexed by Israel since 1967, despite Israel’s attempts to separate it from the rest of the West Bank through a regime of fragmentation and legal segregation.

In this report, Amnesty International presents conclusive evidence that these violations, perpetrated between January 2023 and December 2025, amount to the war crime of unlawful deportation and transfer and the crime against humanity of forcible transfer or deportation, committed as part of a policy to ethnically cleanse Area C of the occupied West Bank by forcibly displacing Palestinian Bedouin and herding communities and expanding illegal settlements at their expense.

Amnesty International uses the term ethnic cleansing in this report to describe a deliberate pattern of conduct aimed at permanently removing Palestinian Bedouin and herding communities from specific areas of the occupied West Bank, in particular Area C. While ethnic cleansing is not recognized as an independent crime under international law, Amnesty International uses the term in line with the UN Commission of Experts on Former Yugoslavia’s definition, which describes it as “a purposeful policy designed by one ethnic or religious group to remove by violent and terror-inspiring means the civilian population of another ethnic or religious group from certain geographic areas.”

While this report covers the period between December 2022 and December 2025, these egregious crimes are ongoing and are part and parcel of Israel’s system of apartheid, as shown by Amnesty International’s continuous documentation and reporting of the situation on the ground.

    Ethnic cleansing continues apace:

    Haaretz straplines:

Israel's Defense Ministry and the military are advancing regulations to legalize approximately 100 agricultural farms in the West Bank that were established with state encouragement and in coordination with the army, and which have long been a source of terror for local Palestinians.

Legalization of the farms would significantly ease the establishment of additional agricultural outposts. Residents of many of the outposts have been involved in the displacement of Palestinian herders and their families, and earlier this week, the U.K. announced sanctions against Israel's Farms Association, which provides financial and organizational support to farms and settler outposts in the West Bank.

At the same time, the IDF is constructing a permanent outpost in a Palestinian Authority-controlled part of the West Bank for the first time since the 1993 Oslo Accords, according to legal documents obtained by Haaretz.

In the documents, the army said the project is intended to replace troops currently stationed in residents' homes in Jenin. But sources familiar with developments on the ground told Haaretz that the outpost is also likely meant to help protect Israeli settlers returning to live in the Jenin area.

Good to see the Pride Parade back in Tel Aviv and the participants enjoying the day.

Well, except those wearing "FCK BNGVR" T-Shirts.

Seems the police are now taking a leaf out of the IDF playbook know - just lie about it:

    Haaretz straplines:

Tel Aviv's Pride Parade returned on Friday after a two-year hiatus due to security concerns stemming from the war, drawing more than 100,000 participants.

Like the 2023 Pride Parade, which took place amid efforts by Netanyahu's coalition to overhaul the judiciary, this year's march carried a stronger political tone than the usually carefree and largely apolitical Tel Aviv celebration. The Tel Aviv Municipality, which organizes the event, said the parade would be held "in a call for equality, unity and democracy."

At the same time, in what appeared to contradict a ruling by the High Court of Justice – which stipulated in 2025 that the authorities may not intervene in the political content of Pride events – Israel Police prevented a woman wearing a shirt reading "FCK BNGVR" in protest of far-right minister Itamar Ben-Gvir from entering the parade. The woman was barred from entering even after removing the shirt. Police also prevented people carrying signs with political slogans from entering, with footage seen by Haaretz showing officers confiscating signs as a condition of entry, despite protesters claiming that doing so was illegal.

Police told Haaretz that no decision had been made to ban political content at the Tel Aviv march and said the matter was under review, later describing the incident as a one-time occurrence and stating that marchers are free to enter the parade with any content.

Jail sentences on terror charges for highlighting part of the UKs contribution to ethnic cleansing. It reminds me of Animal Farm and The Trial.

A UK court has handed jail sentences to four activists from the Palestinian Action group on “terror” charges after they were convicted for a raid on an Israeli arms company.

Judge Jeremy Johnson at Woolwich Crown Court handed down sentences of about five to eight years to the quartet as he branded their August 2024 raid on the Elbit Systems site in Bristol a “terrorist act”.

    Interesting conference

    https://www.palestinechronicle.com/from-vienna-to-dublin-gathering-for-the-second-anti-zionist-congress/

The Dublin Congress has a very loaded agenda to discuss and to move from mere debate to political action. With contributions from leading voices in the struggle for Palestinian liberation and international justice, including Ilan Pappé, Ramzy Baroud, Francesca Albanese, Jérôme Lagarce, and Craig Mokhiber, the Congress seeks to move beyond analysis and towards practical strategies for confronting Zionism and supporting Palestinian freedom.

@batman75; @Tony EH; I don’t think it’s Palestine that is a threat, it’s Israel. The Jewish state needs to move towards becoming a secular state. NOT A THEOCRACY. But how would that happen? Most Israelis are comfortable with resting their foot on the neck of Palestine.

^ Thank you both for your input. This needs to be more fully discussed on the thread.
