I suppose he could walk away and declare victory......but nearly nobody would be buying it....perhaps nobody.. even that cohort of deluded fools that appear to be willing to give support regardless of outcome and if he spent his free time taking **** on their f...

If he was given an off ramp I'm sure he'd snatch it with both hands...

But it's beyond me to even think what that might be such was the stupidity of backing himself into this particular corner....

A stagflation shock looks on the cards, not just a European problem either as everywhere is going to be affected. How prolonged and the amount of job losses depends on how quick it ends or how long it goes on for.

Gulf states have asked Trump to hold off his attack which was set to take place on Tuesday. Who knows with this clown what is going on.

Same shite over and over. Rinse repeat. He couldn’t say he was doing for pakistan for the 15th time so now it’s others. In a couple of months it’ll be Santa asked him to delay it.

Trump said he told Iranian officials that he will give them "two or three days, maybe Friday, Saturday, Sunday, something, maybe early next week, a limited period of time" to come up with a deal, or U.S. strikes will commence again.

If that 'limited period of time' stretches out to the full length he proposes there, and it inevitably will, that's not 'two or three days' that's a full week from when he told them, or even from right now. His next bestseller after he leaves White House will surely have to be "The Art Of Stringing Things Out"

Mark Stone of sky news confronting that gross man that just hurries away. American journalists are pathetic in comparison.

Did he honestly expect anything other than "There is no comment until the investigation is over?" I mean, that's been standard practice since…well.. journalists started asking questions.

The report on the collision between an Army aircraft and a civilian airliner last year took almost 13 months to be released.

    Good point

Especially compared to Iranian journalists who have a tendency to hang from cranes

Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei has issued a binding directive that the country’s stockpile of near-weapons-grade enriched uranium must not leave Iran, significantly hardening Tehran's negotiating stance.

Maybe the Iranian's are getting involved in this money spinner oil futures scam.

I'd say that evil prick Netanyahu is keen to start bombing Iranians again. He is under pressure at home. He doesn't seem to be calling the shots anymore. The war criminal led the silly Americans down a path that will damage them for many years. Nobody trusts the US anymore.

What are they doing in the Hyacinth house?

Trump certainly appears to have the alleged War Criminal (at large) on a very short leash:

    Haaretz reports on CNN info:

President Trump and PM Netanyahu reportedly held a tense phone call on Tuesday over their disagreements on whether to resume the Iran war.

According to CNN, which cited a U.S. official, Netanyahu pushed for renewed attacks during the hour-long conversation, while Trump said that he wants to exhaust diplomatic efforts before turning to military action.

Yes now is the time for diplomacy. What a pair of utter pricks, 1000s dead and destroyed civilian infrastructure everywhere. You couldn’t make it up.

Looks like a few more countries will be joining up with the US / Israeli / Gulf state coalition to open up the strait. All the news yesterday was of a deal being reached and down on paper which caused a 6% fall in all prices, now they are back on the march which suggests it was more fake news.

Al Arabiya released terms of a possible agreement. Outstanding issues to be discussed at later stage! Not much clarity on when sanctions would be lifted and seized money released. No mention of uranium stocks. Not very clear whether Palestine, Lebanon, and Syria are included under "all fronts".

The final draft of a possible agreement between the United States and Iran, mediated by Pakistan, is expected to be announced within hours, Al Arabiya sources said on Friday. Its key terms were exclusively obtained by the network and include the following:

    • Immediate, comprehensive, unconditional ceasefire on all fronts, including land, sea, air
    • Mutual commitment not to target military, civilian or economic infrastructure
    • End to military operations and halt media war
    • Commitments to respect sovereignty, territorial integrity and non-interference in internal affairs
    • Guarantees freedom of navigation in the Arabian Gulf, the Strait of Hormuz and the Gulf of Oman
    • Joint mechanism to monitor implementation and resolve disputes
    • Negotiations on outstanding issues would begin within seven days
    • Gradual lifting of US sanctions in exchange for Iran’s commitment to the terms of the agreement
    • Draft agreement reaffirms compliance with international law and UN Charter
    • Agreement would take effect immediately once officially announced by both sides

It was denied as being fabricated last night. Could be true, you never know at the moment what the reality really is.

All these plans and agreements come out of this WH sound like failures in an essay contest, just like the 'Gaza peace plan' or whatever that was.

Why do I think nitwit Jared writes them?

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei says a deal is a non starter if US demands a handover of the Uranium and add he thinks a deal may not be sorted within weeks or months due to big differences in positions between them.

Looks like Israel is well and truly only an observer.

    Haaretz strapline:

A day after it was reported that a draft agreement between the U.S. and Iran does not include any reference to Tehran's nuclear program, a key issue for Jerusalem, two Israeli defense officials told The New York Timesthat Israel is "almost entirely out of the loop on truce talks."

According to the report, Israeli leaders are mostly depending on their diplomatic connections in the region and intelligence surveillance to stay in the know.

Either peace talks are going well and we're about to get a deal.....or trump is about to blow up another set or iranian negotiators.

Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue

I think there is more genuine optimism this time. Restarting the war would mean it will continue into July and August which would not suit US political priorities.

Iran War Live Updates: U.S. and Iran Agree in Principle to Reopen Strait of Hormuz, U.S. Official Says

The official said Iran had also agreed to dispose of highly enriched uranium, but stressed that a deal had not yet been signed. American and Iranian officials have described the terms differently.

Fingers crossed. The whole thing was madness, a failed CIA /mossad operation arming extremists to kill police and then a war starting with executing the leader and 165 schoolgirls.

I don't know how trump lives with himself.

Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei in his weekly press conference just now.

Framework deal being worked on but outstanding undisclosed issues remain. Nuclear deal to be negotiated once this is completed, issues still being discussed, progress made but a deal is not imminent.

Iran and Oman alone will share responsibility for the security, admin and environmental issues in the Gulf as they are the coastal states of the Strait, no tolls on ships. A similar thing happens to enter and exit the Black Sea and is operated by Turkey.

Ceasefire to include all fronts including Lebanon as agreed earlier.

Sanctions relief and some frozen funds returned before moving onto the nuclear part.

Strong legal guarantees that the US and the Zionist entity will not launch any more attacks in the future.

Outside of negotiations regional discussions underway outside the agreement on making the entire region a nuclear free area which should include Israel ( good idea that one )

Also Araghchi met yesterday with his Chinese and Russian counterparts to discuss the 4 point plan on security for the region. As well as Pakistan being the official mediator, Turkey also is playing a major part behind the scenes along with Egypt.

Spokesman also warned of inevitable attempts by Israel to derail talks and all parties should prevent this and also warned that various press and social media posts coming out are not helping the diplomacy.

    But but but regime change?

Trump doesn't give a tuppence about the people of Iran. It's all about keeping Netanyahu happy and getting control of the oil.

Is this new deal worse than the Obama deal that Trump pulled out of like a complete idiot?

What are they doing in the Hyacinth house?
