    Regarding the Amazon music 5 voucher email offer mentioned on the no chat page. I did receive it but had to contact them via chat. Got a £5 gift voucher.

    I ordered one just in case,, they also have an amazingly priced S1 Pro,,, HAS to be a mistake.

    They seem to set up a new shopfront every other day.

    How does the scam work -

    Card skimmed?? They take the money, but nothing arrives. Poor-standard clone arrives?

    They ship something random to some random address which isn't yours, the item is delivered so that ticks the shipped and delivered boxes in Amazon.

    Whatever you've ordered (lawnmower in my case) never arrives.

    You have to contact them, they apologise and say they'll refund within so many days.

    The refund never arrives, you have to file for a refund through Amazon A-Z. Amazon refund you (they did me anyway) and the seller is gone with the money, closes the shop and sets up another the next day.

    I think in most cases it leaves Amazon out of pocket, not you if you get paid through A-Z.

    Did anyone else spot the PlayStation 5 pro for €499 yesterday? Sold by amazon.ie but was temporarily out of stock. I ordered one but I don't think I'm going to get it.

    They seem to change every couple of days… I have told Amazon about this but theyre obviously not too bothered.. In my case with the Mammotion mower a fortnight ago, I raised a ticket before it was even delivered as I had copped on to the fact that it wasnt going to arrive to me. I would have thought that Amazon would hold the money for a period of time before releasing to the customer/scammer.. I am at a loss to understand the scam..

    As for the "Lucky Person" who recieves the mis-directed package… God only knows what would arrive at your doorstep..

    The money paid belongs to the company if no one claims it back. I'm quite sure there are enough people stupid enough to not claim or leave it to long before claiming so Amazon will hand over some money.

    Wake me up when it's all over.

    They tried to offer a discount to wait for the order. I'd imagine it they can string someone along long enough, they might be able to get the money from Amazon. They wouldn't be doing it if it wasn't generating money for themselves.

    After a lengthy exchange on the chat yesterday I was denied the voucher as I wasn't sent them email offering it directly. I've deleted the Amazon Music app already.

    Amazon has made it more difficult over the last two years the return part and also reaching customer care…no longer as lucrative it used to be.

    i saw some stuff online recently where packages were sent, but it was disposing of their rubbish. some poor lad in the states got thousands of boxes full of rubbish sent to him

    I ordered the Eufy robot vacuum before seeing the company on the thread. Got notified it was delivered to DHL but then never arrived. Seller said mistakes with label by a new staff member I've looked for a refund and complained.

    I have exactly the same with another item same seller, same message, so difficult to get on to Amazon even on chat it's all AI, must be costing them a fortune in admin alone dealing with these scammers, I can't see why they can't get rid of them more easily and quicker. Never had this issue on .co.uk.

    I had a similar story with them and the refund kept getting pushed so I went to Amazon direct and filed an A to Z claim and I had my money back a few days later

    I had to chase customer service for the £5 gift card that was offered by Amazon music for listening to a podcast

    The internet isn’t for everyone

    Not sure if everyone is having similar issues, but for recent returns, I've had to chase multiple times to get postage refunded. The most recent example, I got an email saying the refund for postage was processed on the 12th, then yesterday another agent told me via chat that they had put it through, and finally got it done via chat today. Always worth checking in the order details screen to be sure it is being done, because it should show there and wasn't, even if the payment hasn't arrived. Finally showing now.
