Pete Hegseth just prayed over the Iran war. He used the fake Bible verse from Pulp Fiction.

At the Pentagon's monthly worship service yesterday, the Secretary of Defense stood up, told military leaders what they hear in worship should "inform" their war decisions, and then read a prayer calling for "great vengeance and furious anger" on Iran. He said the prayer was called "CSAR 2517," standing for Combat Search And Rescue, and was based on Ezekiel 25:17.

It wasn't.

It was from Pulp Fiction. Specifically, it was the speech Samuel L. Jackson's character recites before executing an unarmed man. Tarantino wrote those lines himself.

They are not in any Bible. They are in a Quentin Tarantino movie. The actual Ezekiel 25:17 has one sentence. The rest, including "the path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men," was invented for a 1994 film about hit men eating hamburgers.

The Secretary of War read a fictional hit man's execution speech to bless an actual war.

And then he said this: "Fifteen minutes ago I was talking about blockades with Admiral Cooper, and now we're going to study the Lord's word. May what we talk about, how we worship today, inform the remainder of our day and the remainder of our week."

The man coordinating a naval blockade and potential strikes on Iran is citing Bible verses that don't exist. From a movie. To bless a war that has killed more than a thousand people and threatens to starve millions more.

Pope Leo responded to Hegseth's earlier violent prayers on Palm Sunday. The Pope quoted actual scripture, Isaiah 1:15: "Even though you make many prayers, I will not listen. Your hands are full of blood." Archbishop Reinhard Marx of Munich called Hegseth's sermons "shameless blasphemy."

This is the man in charge of American war.machine.

I've been convinced for a while, but this confirms without doubt for me that the MAGA administration are simply trolling the entire planet.

There is no way Hegseth or whoever advises him didn't know this 'prayer' was from a movie. They remind me of Eton style posh boys a la Boris Johnson, just taking the piss with entitled and ignorant 'in' jokes because they feel completely untouchable.

Same with Trumps social media posts. I think they are carefully crafted by someone else, not actually by Trump. I think the sheer ludicrous nature of them is part of the create chaos plan.

Sorry, just do a quick search and you will find loads of almost daily Youtube postings by the likes of Gavin Newsom, Adam Schiff, Sheldon Whitehouse, Chris Murphy and many others, who expose the administration's lies, corruption and incompetence. The Mainstream news networks do not take up the leads offered by these politicians nearly enough, which is why you may seem to think that politicians are not standing up to Trump.

Leo should ask the 70m Catholics in USA to examine their consciences and think deeply about who they vote for in the upcoming mid-terms.

Ah well, SNAFU on Persian Gulf. Iran has opened its airspace but it have closed the Straits again holding the U.S responsible as it had not lifted the U.S navy blockade after a dozen or so tankers passed through the strait. Nothing yet on the movement of the tankers after they had got past the straits to open international waters where the U.S navy is operating its "stop, search and - maybe - seize ships" operations.

It seems that Youtube has banned videos from the Iranian group, Explosive Media, which is responsible for all this Lego-themed trolling of Trump, Hegseth, etc. So much for First Amendment rights. This is a useful report on the issue:

The MAGA 'religion' is a bizarre phenomenon : pro-violence, pro-guns, pro-war, celebrates hate, deeply racist but claims to be drawing its justification from the Bible (specifically the Old Testament).

I've had a bit of craic pointing out that disagreement with the Pope and deciding that Leo "Is not my Pope!", makes them Schismatics and no longer Catholic.
I know I mentioned earlier that I'm irreligious, but that doesn't mean I don't have a decent grasp of how my former religion works.

The idiot doesn't realise this with his isolationalist policies. The more they pull and push away from the world, the more the world realises they don't need them. The end is a new world order, most likely with China and Europe as leaders, and the USA as a bankrupt nation. Think things are bad there now, wait until they realise they have nothing to offer the world, and the World wants nothing from them. I can see a time where it breaks apart, States become independent and global. Same as the UK, if they elect Farage.

Well, in fairness, they should keep Dept. of War because America's war machine has absolutely fuck all to do with "defense".
