Will you not head over to his place and give him a hand to finish it?

We had a great day out around Clifden today. It was mostly sunny and bright, but felt chilly at times. Walked around Kylemore Abbey and gardens and woodlands. Really beautiful place. A very enjoyable early April day today. We got up to 10c is all but it felt pleasant in the sunshine.

Lovely day today. Played my first full 18 holes of golf this year and it was very pleasant indeed.

What are they doing in the Hyacinth house?

I plan to visit that place sometime soon - the last time I was there(25 years ago) the area was overun with those awfull Rhododendron, hopefully they have done something about this damaging invasive since for the sake of the local environment etc.

We had no white Christmas lately, so why not white(ish) Easter instead? ;-)

Today a cloud fest. 9C. Chilly wind. Spent yesterday in Legan, Longford with my eldests partner and children. Lovely sunshine but the wind really took the edge of the temperature. Between the bracing wind and trying to play rugby with the grandchildren slept I like a baby last night.

Surprisingly windy and cool on East Coast today. Not particularly pleasant to be out in where we are anyway as quite exposed to a southerly wind. Looks lovely and calm and sunny on the satellite image over in the UK.

Myself and a pal went hiking at the Baurtregaum/Caherconree area today on the Dingle peninsula .The wind was simply unreal. There was no mention of winds this strong on Met Eireann last night? We nearly got blown off our feet at times & had to change plans and not summit . Luckily we are used to the hills and Kerry weather, but it was a tough day out. At least we got sunshine and it wasn't cold , a taste of things to come I hope.

it was so good of an evening I was able to see the flights from the UK heading to the states over my house snd use my app to tell where exactly they were heading.

Haven’t been able to see them in ages because of the weather and the height they’re at.

Back home in Longford safe and sound. We left a damp and dull and chilly Connemara this morning. We stopped in Castlebar for an hour or so and it was dull but dry. It brightened up as we moved further east towards home, but we had a couple of mizzley patches on our drive, which was also in very heavy traffic heading east on the N5. Some crazy lads and lassies out there on the road with little patience and overtaking long lines of cars jumping in and out of lane, and we were travelling at close to 100 k most of the way. Home around 5pm after a stop in longford for a while. Glad to be back. It was a grand evening weather wise here and grandkids visited for a while and played out all the time till near dark.

I thought the Easter weekend was going to be a complete washout based on some predictions I heard last week but apart from Saturday, it wasn't bad at all. Got loads done. As long as it's dry in April, I am happy. Loving the extra hour of light. I watched a guy kite surfing today. It's looks amazing. If only I was a little younger, would love to try that sport.

Just saw 24⁰ on BBC forecast for this Wednesday ☀️

Ideal morning here for a run. Annoying breeze late afternoon with overcast skies. Dispersed to brighter skies before sunset.

23 degrees we will be in Legoland we will melt😱.

When I was booking it, looked like rain or the Tues or Wed so I have raincoats🤣

Right, I'll have to go buy tshirts and shorts for kids but I did bring suncream just in case!

yes the extra light is making all the difference! Usually I find the change of hour at this time of year hard to adjust to for some reason, this year I'm loving it as soon as it happened,a real bonus.

Superb sunrise in Dublin. Norwegian sail training vessel Statsraad Lehmkuhl in the city until Saturday, a perfect comp for this morning's sky.
