Explain how the site where the destroyed aircraft are located is 100 miles from the known location of where the F15 crashed and where the first pilot was (allegedly) rescued. This would be the equivalent of Special Forces landing in Dublin at night to rescue a pilot who had been shot down near Belfast.

Iran do not want a ceasefire, they want an end to the war. A ceasefire makes absolutely no sense for them, they are not the ones running out of ammunution, even if they could trust America and Israel to honour a ceasefire, which they absolutely can not.

Iran should only agree to end the war when:

    1. Israel withdraw from Lebanon
    2. Israel stop stealing land in Gaza and the west bank
    3. Israel stop bombing innocent people in Gaza daily
    4. Israel agree to allow IAEA weapons inspectors to remove their nuclear weapons program
    5. America withdraw their bases from the Gulf region
    6. Reparations are paid, either in the form of direct payments from the Aggressors to help rebuild Iran, Gaza and Lebanon, or in the form of tolls on the straits on all vessels tied to the US or Israeli war effort that are denominate in USD

    Israel is also weaker.

They are running out of support, becoming global pariahs, reliant 100% on America who themselves are petering on the edge of a serious decline

Planes fly. 100 miles is not actually that far for them.

I wish it was true. Even the running out of weapons(USA and israel) which isn't true they can build new ones as quick as they fire them. The same talk was used against Russia.

They're saying the missing airman was in a mountainous area and needed to be lifted by helicpter. They landed a safe distance away to.unload the helicopters that were used to lift the airman.

The same people who think Iran executed 30,000/50,000 protestors think only 13 Americans have been killed in this war

It is a really useful way to tell propaganda from truth, if any media organisation repeats either number, we know they're full of ****

A totally normal thing to say

Trump claims Iran can be ‘taken out in one night’

The US president has claimed the US’s war on Iran is going well and that US forces could “take out” the whole country in a single night.

“The entire country can be taken out in one night,” said Trump. “And that night might be tomorrow night.”

The US has an incredibly long history of accurately reporting casualties in wars even when detrimental to the administration. Aided by a still fairly free press.

Iran does not have this. Making comparisons between them is completely stupid.

America is the most militaristic country in the world because it feels that it is immune from any domestic consequences.
a few thousand people get killed in 9/11 and they go on a 20 year retaliation tour and kill millions of people in response

America are secured by thousands of kilometers of oceans, Israel thinks they are immune from consequences because they have America to support them. Problem for Israel is they are not separated by geography, they are surrounded, and America's promise that they can protect them is a lie.

Trump at his Bunny event telling everyone how he got ripped off with the weapons he sent for the protesters in order to overthrow the government and kill people.

Probably the Kurds learnt the lesson from being used as a proxy and stabbed in the back every time for their reward.

If the President, or Hegseth order Centcom to not publicly release the correct number of casualties or KIAs, do you think Centcom would disobey, and if they did, how long before those people got fired?

Isn't that what terrorist nations are suppose to do give weapons to be used on people. Imagine admitting that on live television.

Which is ridiculous because the last train to Belfast leaves at like 8pm

Do you think the press wouldn't figure out service members were dead when their relatives find out they are? The US has its problems, but no one is about to threaten to murder families if they tell the NYT that Timmy stopped calling home and something bad might have happened to him.

It is possible to condemn US actions, think the civilian leadership of the US are a bunch of buffoons, and think that this whole fiasco is worthy of unprecedented levels of opprobrium without going down conspiracy laden rabbit holes.

Trump is thrashing the reputation of the office of President of the U.S. He's humiliating himself with his macho outbursts and damaging the reputation of America around the world. This is not a war the American's can win on any front be it militarily or diplomatically. Trump has followed Bibi in putting his head in the noose. For Bibi it's about legacy. For Trump it's about appeasing the Israel lobby in America who helped him get elected.

    What a loony

'Heroic' rescue mission required 155 aircraft, says Trumppublished at 18:2818:28

Trump says the rescue mission to retrieve the second US airman, who was still trapped in Iran days after the first was rescued, involved 155 aircraft, including four bombers, 64 fighters, 48 refuelling tankers, 13 rescue aircraft, and more.

"We were bringing them all over, and a lot of it was subterfuge. We wanted to have them think he was in a different location, because they had a vast military force out there - thousands of people were looking," Trump says.

The "heroic" officer evaded capture on the ground in Iran for almost 48 hours, Trump says.

US forces had to leave planes behind in Iran, but rather than let Iran get hold of the equipment on those aircraft, the US military "blew them up to smithereens", Trump says of the planes.

"I never forget the extraordinary risk taken by the warriors that we send into battle," he adds.

This press conference is a masterpiece of kissing Trump's ass.
The CIA director's spiel regarding the "flawless" "no-fail" "genius" and as I said early on the one thing MAGA requires from any operation within Iran...
    "Audacious"

This isn't a fact or reality based presser.
It is dressing a CSAR op as a major victory, it is now devolving into Hegseth's absolute buffoonery.
This is stage dressed propaganda for MAGA, not actual review or even valid info sharing.

When every person taking the podium, takes time to praise the president?
The purpose is to lionise the president.
Still, Hegseth gets to invoke God and his brand of Christofascism.

    Absolute circus.

Why not, Hillary admitted on TV they founded Al Qaeeda and armed them.

America will report their casualties eventually, but they do not always report them in real time.

And banking caveat, 'past performance is not an indication of future performance' is applicable given that the US have historically been a country that likes to be seen as playing by the rules. Not so much these days

Ok, so now you are proposing that they are hiding multiple causalities that will be released later at the same time as the whole world knew two flight officers were downed on Iranian territory and fleeing for their lives? When it would do material damage to their ability to rescue them? But somehow all the deaths are being covered up?

Honestly, is there any story you wouldn't believe if it makes America look bad?

A free press absolutely would, and I guarantee, there are independent media organisations out there looking to verify these figures.

If you consider the 'press' to be the big US tv and newspaper networks, they're not free anymore.

It becomes very difficult to separate actual free independent media from the absolute tidal wave of slop on youtube and the www, which makes the takeover of corporate media even more consequential than it was 20 years ago

So far, not a single photo or video of either 'rescue' has been published and remarkably short on detail - we don't even have a name for either pilot.

They are a lot bloody freer than anything in Iran.

Your entire premise is that the super secretive and repressive Iranian govt that is, to this day, still executing people for their roles in the peaceful protests earlier in the year definitely didn't murder as many people as claimed, but the US govt that is watched like a hawk by a huge number of still fairly free press (and I agree this is getting worse) is hiding multiple casualties while simultaneously allowing information about downed pilots literally in enemy territory. Take a moment to realise how silly a proposition that is.
