I am not saying any of this was true, I am saying this was what the Republicans and Trump presented as the case and people believed it

"People" is a strech, it was mostly just idiots. Plus looking at the criminal records of a lot of MAGA figureheads a shared interest in children and sexual deviance. A market that wasn't targeted until Trumpy came along.

There is a very powerful Jewish Lobby in America who would crucify anyone saying anything against the genocide in Gaza, so both sides were pro Israel in theory. There was a massive backlash against Biden/Harris for enabling Netenyahus attack.

I struggle to understand how the vast majority have gone along with the Iran thing even though he was banging the 'America First' drum so loudly in his campaign. Maybe MAGA were always more ambivalent about foreign interventions, or it wasn't as big a priority for them as it seemed to the outside observer…

I would say that your depiction of Fox is inaccurate. They do not run normal news bulletins. Their news is heavily edited so as not to give offence to the regime. Fox is a propaganda outlet for magats and republicans and has been since its inception. Their target audience do not see nor understand the difference between commentary and opinion. Their daily content is coordinated with the regime before showing. Their output is in lockstep with the regime’s narrative for the day. This extends to even the phraseology used by their anchors.

Their reactions would indicate that many of MAGA only believe in one thing: Donald Trump and whatever he says. If he says ''black'' on tuesday, they're all for it but if it's ''white'' on wednesday, they'll do a quick memory wipe and they're enthusiasts for the opposite view. ''Yes, foreign interventions are really bad, but foreign interventions by President Trump are a different thing..they're good because he's smart''.Only a minority of MAGA including Bacon, Massie, Ron Paul and MTG actually have any sincere , deeply-held beliefs on any issue. For the rest all it takes is a speech by Trump to swing them. Strange to believe that an all-powerful,totalitarian state, backed by total surveillance and coercion wasn't required to achieve the 1984 'We have always been at war with Eastasia' level of willed amnesia/loyalty.
