Anyone who was offered without vetting completed, did you ever live abroad? I'm just wondering why some people are eligible for conditional offers & some aren't.

i got a conditional offer, it says my vetting is in it’s final stages and for some reason i haven’t done a station interview 🤷‍♂️

Less then 6 weeks to next Intake they try to give between 5-6 weeks notice for start date. So ide say there will be more offers out today and tomorrow.

For those offered May intake what recruitment campaign did ye apply for and what was your OOM ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 309 ✭✭Undead

Applied February 2025 and for that recruitment drive they didn't do OOM, you either passed or failed Stage one testing, and same for the interview, although they did give us scores from the interview, but I think that was just for ourselves.

They’re inviting you into the college despite your interview? Heard a few cases of this I geniunely wonder why they pick and choose who has to wait and who doesn’t

This might be just a me thing but even when I was down in templemore doing the PCT I felt like they were profiling you and trying to suss you out and I feel that does play a part in it whether people like to hear this or not.

If you look back on a previous post it said there were people in training now from 10 years ago.

Is there a certain time of day they usually contact you with an offer?

Filling in form b and it’s looking for original birth certificate. I do not have the actual original only the one i ordered from HSE. Will this suffice?

Yes should be alright. I had a similar issue.

I second this, I got the same feeling when I was down there.

As someone who has been there, done the test and got out the gates of Templemore they're definitely not profiling you at the fitness test.

When did you apply, what has your timeline been like?

Congratulations! I also applied in feb 2025, still waiting. I had the station interview 3 weeks ago, when did you had yours?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12 Agni Silva

I agree, they couldn’t care less. If you expect them to do that you can convince yourself that they may be doing it though.

    Any more offers for May?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 193 ✭✭Paddy 42

Since the 3 current recuritment campaigns the 24 one and the two in 25 .

Would be interesting to see how many of the candidates who applied have now dropped out because of the length of time and the lack of communication and information available to candidates.

I see there a young lad who was stationed in Dublin, 4 months after graduating from Templemore left because he could not find accommodation.

He is looking to rejoin again now as he has sourced accommodation. They said he will have to go through the whole process again.
