Both Men' s and Ladies teams relegated from the top tier this year after today ,not sure when that last happened.

Yeah, they both had leagues to forget. Although I'd be more optimistic about the Women's team's AI credentials than the Men..

Looked at the Leinster route there -Carlow / Wicklow - QF

Semi-Final - Likely v Louth -would do well to reach the final

Meath on the easier side of the draw and all, looks like a definite final place for them.

Maybe the last time I actually looked at the Leinster draw properly was 2005!?

Great for neutrals. But I am struggling to remember a time when I considered the Dubs to be third favourites on form.

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

First time in years that I would make Meath really strong favs for Leinster ,can't not fancy them .They got a massive boost beating us last year and it made their year dispite losing both matches that really counted after beating us .They have brought on some decent players by the looks of things and are on a bit of a high .I find it very hard to find positives for us unfortunately, we really have fallen off a cliff in terms of new lads breaking through .Looks like a couple of lean years at least .Needless to say I hope my gloomy outlook is well wrong .

Yes. Meath are now favourites. At least it will bring back the proper Dublin Meath competitive matches like the old days. Who can forget the saga in the 90s.

True but it Made beating meath the next few years all the more satisfying.

I was thinking this must be the poorest midfield combination Dublin ever had? Normally was at least one good midfielder and a decent partner.Would kill for a Stynes, Homan, Ryan etc now.

Ah Shane Ryan. Not the tallest for a midfielder at the time , could run through an entire team (but couldn’t shoot to save his life) and had a ridiculous engine. Actually a great partner for whelan who was a beast and when he was on it unplayable,

A poor set of results for us this week both underage teams beaten in Leinster .I know they are not knock out games but really another example how we have slipped down across the grades.

Clare no 9 very lucky the ref didn't see that clear strike with the hurl during that ruck ball, dirty stroke

Bit of a rally by Dublin at the start if the second half, gap was down to 4 but out to 7 now.

    2 in it now...

Great effort in the second half. That 10 minute spell before halftime just left us with too much ground to make up. Good outing in the league and on to the championship now with the tails up. Bring it on.
