Aside from intentional time wasting and the nonsense at corners there has to be something done with the amount of time being allowed for things like long throws. One game in particular where we conceded in add on to add on time there was 2 mins taken up taking two thrown ins. This take a throw on one side, and then walk across to the far corner of the field, spend ages drying the ball and then eventually take another throw has to be stopped.

That game was already way over time it should have been blown up when he was walking across for the second throw - would soon speed things up if they started ending games when people are just making no effort. I think being handed a towel to dry the ball should also be banned - I’m surprised it was ever allowed is it not seen as an outside influence on the game giving an advantage to the attacking team.

Slot did say in the press conference that it was a hard one to call for today because if you brought him on for a few minutes the game could end up going to extra time and you would have to sub him back off
