At least the tractor can be driven away, the rest of the WH and its grounds are going to need a fair bit of work to get rid of the lingering stench of Trump's **** sense of taste.

    In other words....

The aim of the war is to reopen the thing that was already open before America started the war and caused it to close

Elect a clown... Expect a circus

Relevance? They're getting huge turnouts, and there've only been 3. The protesting in Minnesota did lead ICE to dial back the worst of things and eventually got rid of Noem.

Who was shot dead for protesting a stupid shutdown?

Your take on things is, well, interesting

If you're going to post drivel and want people to read it, at least use punctuation.

The 🍊💩 is robbing the country blind,

The €500m he stole from Venezuela, when they hijacked an oil tanker, has not been accounted for yet.

Claims of brutal execution in North Korea raise questions

This looks like a fitting way for Donald to exit, doubt he will be going anywhere near NK.

They could just put him in a tank with his cabinet. It would amount to the same thing.

The WaPO has truly become a joke if they're running a headline like that without a trace of irony.

Worse than that, it's opened the new Iranian regime's eyes to this simple move they can pull from now on whenever they want to turn the screw on America or Israel for something

And now Senator Ron Johnson goes back to the top of the table of "dumbest" MAGA politicians and in the running for most despicable.

MAGA Sen. Ron Johnson is facing backlash for his suggestion that Renée Nicole Good and Alex Pretti

—both shot to death by ICE agents this year—were “trained activists” used as “martyrs” by the Democrats.

It’s two fingers up to millions of Americans - citizens need to target republicans and press for impeachment - shame them into it - individually they won’t be able to stand the heat for long - they’re gutless and will cave - a few decent protests outside the houses of the people protecting Trump and keeping him in power would be nice to see

To lose one straight is unfortunate…but to lose two…

If this comes to pass we’re in even greater do-do than we are right now

“The true significance of the long-awaited entry of Yemen’s Houthis into the Iran war depends on whether the Tehran-backed proxy group is intending to send a few missiles and drones from a distance towards Israel or will instead capitalise on its proximity to the narrow Bab al-Mandab strait to effectively close off the Red Sea to shipping, just as Iran has in effect shut the strait of Hormuz.

The combined effect of both waterways being shut to commercial traffic from countries that neither the Iranians nor Houthis favour would be devastating. Napoleon Bonaparte’s remark that “the policy of a state lies in its geography” has never seemed more apt.“

America is not the big kick ass superpower they’d like us to think they are- with the depletion of weapons supply with Ukraine, now the Iran war and also losing a strategic drone seeking plane, I bet China is taking copious notes on its losses and lack of strategy, seeing how easy it is for second rate hoodlum organisations to reek havoc with US equipment

“A vital US plane needed to hunt deadly drones has been destroyed in a missile strike which also left at least five American troops seriously injured.

Photographs taken at Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia show the ravaged remains of an E-3 Sentry aircraft after it was struck on Friday amid the Iranconflict.

The control system aircraft is a critical eye in the sky which helps track drones, missiles and planes from hundreds of miles away.

Air Force Colonel John 'JV' Venable told the outlet the downing of the plane is 'a huge deal' because there are a limited number of E-3s and they cannot be replaced.

'It hurts the US's ability to see what's happening in the Gulf and maintain situational awareness,' he told the Wall Street Journal

The Air Force only has 16 E-3 Sentry planes left in the fleet, as production of the aircraft ended in 1992. The Pentagon is in the process of replacing them with Boeing E-7 Wedgetails, at a cost of $700 million each.  “

Jane Fonda, recently called out Trumps invasion of Iran, as (I paraphrase here) more Neo-Con Vietnam influenced bullshit, and said that Trump is unstable. At an anti‑war rally in Los Angeles, Fonda condemned the strikes as “dangerous and insane” linking them to past wars fought on false premises and warning that new conflict, risks spiralling into regional wars with many American casualties. Calling Trump “unhinged” and “at war on many fronts” was an even sharper critique by Fonda in other appearances.

Trump and the Neo-cons who back him, see the U.S.as honouring the lives of those vets who served in ‘Nam and still remain alive to this day, vets and war heroes, who want to know they didn’t fight for nothing, and that their sacrifice meant something for American and global security. I have a tendency to sympathise with these men and women and this view somewhat. Those of us, who have connections to America outside of business, or have been to Arlington Cemetery, or went there in our youths and stayed with welcoming hosts, invited into their homes, as many Americans so often do with strangers from abroad, know this to be a great honour for Americans – to serve their country and fellow countrymen and women as a the highest honour. It brings the argument back to the point, and reduces it down to a right versus left debate, of non-interventionism on the left, to the geo political great game of chess on the right, where Russia, socialism and the left are the opposing, dominating force in the world which the right must confront.

Let us analyse Trump, Hegseth’s and this Irish government’s positions, on the bombing and ongoing war with Iran and Gaza. Firstly, there was the Oct 7th attacks in Israel which lead to Ireland, very vociferously on the world stage denouncing Israel and its governments actions. Now, the same is happening with the Trump administration and it’s bombing of Iran. What that means is that every time, socialists or people from traditionally left-wing parties, speak out act out against the right, it feels cornered and will push back militarily, or more accurately, Trump, or his generals, or his Administration, will advise those countries to do so. It also includes Trump supporting Israel’s supposed retaliatory strikes to global criticism.

What we had with Iran, was enrichment levels rising to 60%, 10% below nuclear warhead level enrichment. So, if a strike were to happen on Iran it would be 10% off having a warhead with nuclear capabilities and this was on quite a large scale with many warheads at that level. We have seen in the past, the US delegation going to Iran to craft JCPOA and its removal of weapons grade uranium/enrichment, but time and again Iran have breached this agreement. In fact, Trump believed, there was little to no choice left for his administration. However, the factual picture is more complicated. International monitoring groups, and U.S. intelligence assessments reported, that Iran’s previously enriched uranium stocks were buried after earlier strikes, making rapid bomb production unlikely. They also found little evidence that Iran had resumed active weaponisation work. But enrichment alone does not equal a functioning nuclear weapon. Public intelligence assessments in early 2026 concluded that Iran was not on the verge of building a finished warhead, even if its completion period had shortened.

In Gaza, the argument that Irish criticism “motivates” Trump to push back militarily is more interpretative than factual. But the point remains and stands- every time there is shouting and opposition from Ireland, to Gaza and the Iranian wars on the world stage by Irish politicians and representatives, this motivates Trump and his allies to push back militarily, to defend their position as though they are cornered. What we can say is that Trump has reacted aggressively to European leaders who challenge him through back channels in a calm manner, which is very underhand way of dealing with dissent, as has been seen often in Irish institutions and private organizations in many cases in the past. Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, has called the U.S.-Israeli bombing campaign a “violation of international law” prompting Trump to threaten cutting off all trade with Spain.

According to to a sworn deposition by Roger Alford, a deputy in the Justice Department’s antitrust division, Mike Davis threatened Gail Slater, head of the Justice Department’s antitrust division, unless she approved a settlement deal related to Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s $14 billion bid to acquire rival Juniper. Davis was at the time a paid advisor for Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Slater and her team were resistant to approving the settlement. Shortly thereafter, Slater and her deputies were forced out of the Justice Department.

Something similar to this happened under Nixon with an antitrust investigation into a company called ITT, which was an important defence contractor. A Democrat Texas Congressman passed it to the Watergate Committee. Back then the accusation was that ITT was getting favours in return for political funding of Nixon's reelection campaign.

The UFC Freedom 250 event - Ultimate Fighting Championship - is scheduled to take place on the South lawn on June 14, 2026. Imagine that as a public event if the war is still on.

At the protests over the weekend, there were plenty army vets attending who don’t believe Trump is honouring his pledge as president - just because Trump is moving military around the world, doesn’t necessarily mean the military agree with him or indeed what he’s doing is legal right or wise.

JFC, I forgot all about that. I figured a cage match at the WH was one of these things Trump would announce only for it to be forgotten about before the day was out.
