    Not to mention that in the US over the last 6 months in particular, Democrats have had significant success in flipping strong Republican seats.

    I would most definitely not take this as a sign of future success and we know that both the Democrats are more than capable of hobbling their own progress, and that corporate culture still has a massive hold on that party in the same way it does with the Republicans.

    See for example the resistance of Jefferies, Schumer et al in showing any sort of support or alignment with Mamdani who himself could be a massive boon to the party given the office he holds "If" they knew how to use him.

    Yeah I'd be hedging my bets on the US for the moment. Up to the very end in 2024 I thought they might pull back from the brink.

    1 week until the election in Hungary and a (almost certainly contrived) crisis has emerged this morning

    Surprised he didn't blame Ukraine in the tweet but that's almost certainly coming later today.

    Looks like he's trying to cancel that pesky election that has been bothering him so much!
