Found a Foo Fighters song I couldn’t remember the tune of or name of. All I knew was it was early 90’s. And would know it if heard it.

What triggered the memory I found a decades old gig flyer advert from a fella from school in the 90’s era. He was seriously into his music, lead singer, guitar etc Invited a gang of us to a gig back then . He asked what I thought of them. Says I “well the only song I liked was @@@@@“ . “That’s a Foo Fighters song” says he. He wasn’t happy with me.

I suppose he inadvertently got his own back decades later. As I was trying to think of that song for the last two days! It was starting to drive me demented. The name of the song was “Big Me”

The auld rocker that does be at the gym - he has ponytail, headphones, and sunglasses on while exercising. And the real gas part is he dances to the music complete with arm movements between sets. Not a care in the world!

TH when I do the daily puzzles on LinkedIn and I do one of them faster than a well-known, incredibly intelligent journalist with whom I used to work. I know, I'm a saddo but it doesn't happen very often 😂

I would die for these people. 100% they are all absolutely sound blokes. Live and die for "Rock n Roll".

If I see you at a gig and you've in a denim cut off with assorted band patches on we can most certainly be best friends.

Kids learning life lessons in a jam packed pub -with extremely slow service - inexperienced bar staff. Small girl about 7/8 ish fiver in her hand queuing in bar for Pringles . Her friends behind her encouraged her “make yourself big like a defender” (to be seen).

The girl patiently waited 5-10-15-20-25 minutes. She was finally served She said “Pringles please” . And was told “Sorry we are out of Pringles” .

had a look at my T-shirt stock with summer not far away.. probably about 8 that can be either stuck in the charity bag or binned. Nice excuse to treat myself to some new T-shirts and freshen up the wardrobe a bit next week.

That the bargain car hire I missed out on last week - approx €25 a day that went up to over €54 a day this week - from next week it drops right down to €14 a day. I don't need the car before Easter, anyway. And I've free cancellation, too!

The self-indulgent 3 hour drive to the childhood home from the adult home. A mars bar, a giant bag of crisps and a can of coke. And a yacht rock playlist that I could only play when I'm by myself.

Forecast showing the weather is taking up by tonight. Be at a bit of a loose end so will try get out, headphones on for one of my monster walks. Only annoying thing around this area is you head too far north or too far west it’s dodgeville… too far south or east you are making your way back home up a very long stretch of unwelcome hills and inclines…but I like my fresh air and tunes…

As a project with some older kids, we created a small “beach” near the lake’s shoreline, and this is the first weekend we’ve had to spread it out and see how it works in the wild.

This is the only time I have been back to midland HQ , a break in the meeting I could see the mums and dads arrive with their kids to spend the weekend in the apartment blocks or holiday home.

We could see how excited the kids were to play in the "beach", curiously while we were watching it was the mum's' who read the signs saying it was created by local children for use of everyone who wants, th the look of pride and happiness on the faces of the lady staff who conceived and implemented the plans when they saw the kids take to it.
