Do we have trains meeting each other in stations to change over passengers, I know we dont on the Northern line where I would have thought it would make sense to have a small 2 carraige train run between Dundalk & Say Malahide stopping at all stations - including the now closed Castelbellingham, Dunleer, Drogheda North etc and meeting the enterprise or limited stop trains at stations where passengers can change ?

In Ireland yes dont know about Dublin in particular. Limerick to LJ is timed to meet the Cork to Dublin and some Ennis to Limerick are timed for trains to Dublin.

I believe Mayo have a similar set up.

I’ve said it before but I’d like to see the provision of limited stop Luas services.

Some services on the M3 Parkway branch of Maynooth line meet Maynooth services at Clonsilla.
