They're handy alright however I'd say Saturday day tickets are not a good sign if they want to actually make the festival a viable ongoing concern for the long term. Best to keep Fri and Sat to people who are coming for the weekend and stick to Sunday for day sales.

Had a bit of a dive into more of the recent additions this week. Quite a few shoegazey bands. There's alot of unknowns and new to me's that we'll be checking out; Dose, Maicin, Al Gibbs, BoolaBoom (probably as I used to play in a live percussion and horn band), Zeztra, Croithe, Sei Green, Evan Gildersleeve and Dreamboy.

Obviously already keen for OTA, Tinlicker and Chalk :)

What's everyone else's new to them picks?

Haven't done a proper deep dive yet however had never heard of Of Monsters and Men and quite liking them.

I do like a bit of indie or garage rock in the middle of what is generally a weekend full of dance music (e.g. the likes of Alvvays, Florist and O Sees from previous years - with And So I Watch You From Afar getting the gold medal)

@RangerToby - which 1 or 2 shoegazey acts should I check out first?

Yeah, Of Monsters and Men are a great pick, Saw them quite some time ago but are a regular listen for me. One of those bands thats been about a while and are big in a solid global fan base way. I bet you will have heard them but not known its them - had a few tracks that have been on film/tv soundtracks

The ones I've clocked in the shoegazy realms I'm deffo hitting up are DREAM BOY and Croíthe. Edit: Obviously NewDad is big one
