I refused an offer for one location and remained on panel for 2nd location!

Can confirm that Limerick has dropped 20 places since October, for anyone who's waiting to hear

    Hi all,

I have been invited to a second-stage interview, but the assigned time doesn't work for me. Can I email largevolumerecruitment5@publicjobs .ie to ask for a new date and time? Ideally, I need a specific slot that fits my schedule.

Has anyone else had success rescheduling an interview before? Thanks!

@Shazzy1993 your WFH days depend on your division and manager. Some has 3. Some has 4 days WFH with 1/2 days being anchor days where you must be in office.

    Any more movements in panels?

thanks! I’m just so undecided if I’m called next for Galway if I should take it or not, 50 min drive from me, not including traffic. But if the WFH is good then I’ll manage it. Not garentee to be called for mayo as still in the early teens. Ugh I don’t know what to do, hard to know right?

@shazzy1993 definitely a difficult decision but if it was me, I'd accept Galway. I wouldn't bank on the Mayo odds.

I would accept your offer if Galway is offered. Then you can seek mobility move to Mayo once you have your foot in the door. Also I know a few people working for Revenue who all work 4 days WFH and one day in the office.

Likewise , for 1 day per week in office. Worth it to get foot in door. As Mayo OOM may not be reached. Majority of Revenue staff are 1 day per week in office.

I completely agree. Majority of revenue staff are 1 day per week in office.

so is it full time in office for trainee staff?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 48 weekend2014

@Shazzy1993 I think you would be best asking the HR contact for Galway office, as I have heard differing rules in place for work from home from different locations from the start.

By trainee staff, if you mean new joiner, I am one and get same WFH days just like others in my division. It's the decision of your PO/AP.

@sswathi that's good to know. You hardly heard of any new recruits to be hired or soon to be hired? I'm eagerly awaiting & praying for an offer soon. 😬🤞🏻

Just wondering am I aswell to forget about it ever happening.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 163 ✭✭sswathi

We won't know about any new recruits till they join. Last new recruitment in our division was in January, after November last year.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24 WishfulThinking

@sswathi Auh I see. Oh well if it's going to happen it'll happen I guess. Cheers

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7 florie

no movement, all quiet in Westmeath

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 48 weekend2014

Same position now for 4 -5 months. What are chances of more movement before end of July? And whats the chances of this panel being extended

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5 Setanta1985

Anyone hear of any movements anywhere? In month 8 now I was hoping to see some movement for April but doesn’t seem to be any, all hope will be on June and if no one gets a call then it looks extremely doubtful 😢.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7 RovingReporter

No movement for Waterford either. Were the majority of start dates in September and January?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 48 weekend2014

I applied for the 2026 EO general competition , would they pull from that competition do you think for revenue positions?

Has anyone emailed for an update on their OOM? I'm very close to the top so I'm hoping I get an email in the next round of updates.
