Chilly at times this weekend with sunshine and blustery showers on Saturday and a return to rain on Sunday. Watch out for gales in the far north and west, sharp gusts associated with any heavy showers or frontal rain.

A mostly fine few days and feeling warmer compared with the weekend. However, ill-timed changes are expected with the weather as the long weekend begins.

A number of low pressure systems will track close to the UK this long Easter weekend. The greatest impacts are expected from a particularly deep low that arrives on Saturday bringing very strong winds in the north and west into Easter Day. Thereafter there’s more changeable weather to come through the following week.
