From Strictly to the sofa, Claudia kicks off her chat show which promises Hollywood actors, the best of British and comedy stars - all put at their ease by the host's trademark warmth, charm and humour. Her first guests are Hollywood star and musician Jeff Goldblum, actress Vanessa Williams, comedy icon Jennifer Saunders and funnyman Tom Allen.

It is on BBC One tonight at 10:40 or VM1 at Nine tomorrow.

Seems to be very scripted. Just happens to have an audience member that designs pencils. Someone else who helps toads.

At least trying something different format to GN.

First 5 mins they discussed the furniture/set.

Next week her guests are Joanne McNally, Guz Khan, and Niall Horan.

The following week she's joined by Jimmy Carr, Chase Infiniti, and Lisa Kudrow.

I watched about 20 minutes of it, Claudia seemed very nervous so she might settle as she gets used to it.

Pretty dreadful.. blatantly scripted and bizarrely disjointed ("bring out the dog..??").

May improve but don't think Graham is worried.

On LLS last week: - Joanne McNally was promoting her successful show "Pinotphile" on the Late Late Show, where she discussed her achievements and her upcoming performances.

So if you tuned in last week, we will probably get a repeat of the same content tonight.

Wonder will we get more “produced spontaneity” from the audience again tonight?

Are you going to watch it, corkie? You can let us know if it's worth a look.

Not a fan of Joanne, but I will tune in again tonight. So willing to give the show another watch, If it comes across as more scripted content. Don't think I will continue.

Strange you asked. Asked an AI was it scripted last week and the below was a response in the query.

If they dialled back the pre‑briefing and let Claudia handle more genuinely random audience moments, would that make you more likely to stick with the show or are you already out?

I wasn't the only person to raise the 'Scripted' issue. Online reviews etc pointed that out.

I will share again, afterwards, if I think it is worth tunning in on VM1 tomorrow night, if not watching tonight.

It really looked like Claudia was very nervous last week so she might have wanted it scripted and specific people in the audience, it just made it too forced though. It's a pity because Claudia is very likeable and always comes across as very natural, but then anything I've seen her in is scripted.

FWIW she's joint first with Baz Asmawi in my list of people I inexplicably cannot stand.

For me if there was a picture definition of faux it would be of her. Most ungenuine portrayal of a personality I've ever seen.

She needs everything to be scripted so it can come across as natural, it's not.

Another only barely okay show tonight. So if anyone waiting till tomorrow night to watch probably skip it.

Most interesting guest to me was Rachel Zegler.

It wasn't as forced to night but keeping the format of “produced spontaneity” with audience members.

Is Joanne trying to bring back 80's fashion with large winged shoulder pads.
