I got incredibly excited when I received an email at 12:02, I assumed I had a win of some sort. But it was only confirming €100 in bonds I bought on Tuesday.

I have exactly 1,000 bonds now.

    Nothing for me today.

The number of €75 prizes in the March draws is 8,704 down from 8,712 in February. Newest bond to win on 06 February BKF994879, newest 06 March BKK563595. Sales of around €28.55 million.

My estimate for sales in February 2025 was €33 million. Actual sales February 2024, €31.687 million (from the Annual Report).

After the first three Premium Bond draws of 2026 I've won £650 (€740). That's a return of 1.3% so far, or 5.2% over 12 months on 50,000 £1 bonds. A nice start, but it will probably come closer to the average as the year progresses.

I see the interest rate is coming down in April from 3.6% to 3.3%. That was announced before the war started, so it might be short lived.

Of all the days for them to be down why today? The day I had decided to stick some more money into Prize Bonds.

Perhaps its an omen that if I do they won't win anything anyway?

Wake me up when it's all over.
